    Is yoga beneficial to boxers?

    Historically you don't really see too many boxers doing yoga but in recent years a few are starting to incorporate it into their training.

    Do you think it's a helpful practice for a fighter?

    I think some aspects of it can really help. It can helps maintain joint strength and help with injury prevention. If it's used as a small supplement it can be useful. I know roy jones and ward have used yoga from time to time.

            I've read that a lot of runners do yoga, it helps relax the hamstrings. It's also good if you wanna meet hot chicks in yoga pants.

              Yoga is very good for any sport , its only stretching , breathing and mind relaxing meditation .

              Yoga is good stuff .

                    Yoga is probably only good for the mind, like meditation, physically nah.

                    Fun fact: There is actually no legitimate proof that stretching actually helps with pain, soreness or anything like that.
