Anyways, he didnt even really do it. He started it, ate mcdonalds, got a massage, and stretches his hammies. He didnt actually do much of anything.
You don't really have any idea what he actually does.

Anyway, yoga is certainly beneficial in some form.

      Many many athletes do it.

Yoga is awesome, it can definitely be beneficial to boxers because certain yoga moves build up core strength and flexibility. I have a back injury at the moment and the yoga is helping heal that noticeably with gradual pain reduction so it's good for post-injury rehabilitation too. A lot of boxers already use yoga-type positions without knowing it, for example some of Ariza's strength-training with the exercise balls are actually variations of yoga moves.

lol wtf? yoga isn't just for girls, it's just been marketed more towards females in recent years rather than males so as a result we have mentalities like yours. People who think that because they've seen images of girls doing yoga more than guys then it must be a girl thing. It's bs, snap out of it and go do some yoga - I bet if you did it for a week straight you will feel the benefits of the exercise and you'll keep doing it.

It's beneficial for just about everyone. So is Pilates.

Yoga offers benefits in flexibility, strength, balance, posture, and breathing. And that's only the physical aspects of it so yes, I'd say boxers can greatly benefit from it. I've been doing yoga for about a year and I can't believe I didn't start earlier because I feel amazing. Don't listen to uncultured swine that try to tell you that yoga is for women or "fags," these idiots don't even know the origins of yoga and I'd bet you they couldn't even maintain the most simple poses for a minute.
