Everyone is talking about rigo with disregard for the opponent here. Avalos is a young strong kid with good skills and a power punch that could change things in a flash, i hope posters on here dont sleep on this kid.. and he has improved alot since his losses so id give his kid a pretty good shot at an upset..

Avalos is definitely a solid fighter. He's a top 5 super bantamweight in my opinion. Tough pressure fighter with good power-chin-stamina. He hasn't been protected by Top Rank like some other prospects. He fought Romero, Ishimoto, Martin, Francisco, unbeaten Suleymanov and Vicente. The kid can fight and he has earned his title shot.

Avalos isn't a good fighter,don't know how he's ranked one but then again a lot of fighters don't deserve that ranking,he has only faced one current or past champion and that was romero and he lost,and I don't even think romero was that good to begin with,,,Avalos is getting this opportunity because he's ranked number one but he's not really any good,he looked clueless against martin and rigo should win easily

Caribe Promotion seem to have ruin his free agent plans, nobody want to share profits or have to pay them out. Not sure WTF Rigondeaux was thinking getting into business with these nobodies but this is a on going thing with Cuban defects getting extorted
