I'm just trying to understand it from the perspective of fans who actually are die hard fans of let's say Rigo..let's eliminate Ward and Floyd I used them as purely only examples.

Ward has nothing left at SMW. Same to an extent for Floyd at WW... Rigondeaux has 3 great fights at his current weight with Frampton, LSC and Quigg. Why would we want him to move up?

frampton is the real deal imo, and the best challenge for rigo at that weight
Why in Northern Ireland? So if Rigo doesn't KO him they can rob him on the cards? Why not in the States where the big money and biggest fights happen? Must we.. with the toolish comments?

Well by comparison to Ward, Rigondeaux clearly hasn't cleaned out his division. They just need Showtime to provide him the same opportunity that was provided to Ward by way of a 122lb tournament.

Carl Frampton is still undefeated, Scott Quigg is undefeated as well as LSC . . . Kiko Martinez could possibly beat all of them if given the opportunity . . . Chris Avalos is the #1 contender and on a winning streek

There are fights to be focused on making in the foreseeable future

Plus Rigo is a small 122 pounder anyway . . . moving up will likely have a diminishing effect on his punching power (see Gamboa's last fight)

I asked the question friend, wasn't seeking a question posed to me. He may have those fights as possibilities, realities, well that's a different thing in the end.

            Fair enough

People say Mayweather has to be more entertaining and do this and that. Pacquiao has to cut off the ring and do this and that. When it comes to Rigo, it's Agbeko's fault why people were booing and exiting the doors in mass numbers. It's never his fault that his fights are boring to watch. In reality, he's a one dimensional fighter.
            Fair enough.

            Thanks for your replies guys.
