I think mayweather is just waiting for his very last fight. How much money would that make? Win or lose his last fight, it will be pacquiao for that big 50-0 record. Al haymon is smart.

Really think this might happen.
I think Floyd, Bob and Al have been up to something for months now. Just a hunch.

Mayweather doesn't want to fight Pacquiao and he never did or the fight would have happened years ago. Mayweather can make lots of money fighting lots of other guys. If Mayweather loses a fight then maybe he would fight Pacquiao but I doubt it because he won't do business with Arum and he would still want most of the money.

Mayweather has an exclusive multi-fight deal with Showtime and Pacquiao fights under HBO. But Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, believes the fight is big enough where both networks will work together side by side - as they did several years ago for the heavyweight super-fight between Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis. You want the best proof that this fight is WAY past its sell date?
Even ESPN was talking today about the fight happening too late.

I'd actually be happier if they never fought at this point, because fighting next year would look like they avoided each other to wait for this specific moment, when they could end their careers together with one huge payday. That's probably been the plan all along.
We'd be rewarding them for never wanting to fight each other until they both wanted to walk with the payday, which offends me more than never seeing it.
