5 years to late sure but people have to stop kidding with themselves, no fight is bigger then this, it will be the biggest sporting event of the year and arguably the biggest fight in the history of this sport and ironically the delay is making it bigger and bigger.

                  Nah, it's past it's peak.

Arum is a damn fool if he thinks boxing fans are going to buy Pacquiao-Algieri on the Mayweather ticket. Same for Floyd if he starts talking Pac in the build-up to Maidana II (which will flop again).

For hardcore fans, the idea of seeing both in their primes face off is as good as it was going to get and obviously it's gone.

But for casuals, these two have gone on to become more and more popular each year. The idea that this is 5 years in the making is an even more easy sellout ( not that the fight really needs selling), all the "bad blood", tension, drama, whose ducking who etc make this fight in my opinion bigger then it was 5 years ago.

I don't even want to see this fight anymore cause I already know the outcome.
