My point was though, that excuse can only last for so long. Once you reach a certain age, you have to start taking responsibility for your actions and the priorities you set for yourself, especially someone who's as well off as Mayweather is. There's absolutely no excuse for him not to have better himself as a man by improving his education, setting a good example for his kids and the thousands of others who look up to him.

No one gave a **** about this rematch, but who doesn't want to see Floyd fight now, no matter who his opponent is? Everybody's going to want to see how he responds to all this, if it impacts his performance, etc. Not to mention if Maidana takes a couple of shots at him about it at a presser or something like that; it'll only fuel people's interests.
