According to you, 50 years ago humans thought as neanderthals did 40,000 years ago (i didnt imagine the 70s were like that), and i live in a society where banana's are thrown at black people on a field (that would be a little harsh).
Not to mention that traveling domestically is really petty and nothing to feel pride over, but baby steps i guess.
Admission. Thank you and good bye, I'm done with you.

LOL. You said it, ******. I quoted you. That's what the whole, "According to you" part signalled.

Look man, you told me in this thread that you were alone all day and didnt see your parents until midnight everyday, and Im sorry about that, but dont transfer and project their mistakes (letting you be raised a fool) onto me.

that's real? jesus Larry, ease off.

But you know what? I like LarryX. At least he's honest and doesn't troll. Falls on his face at times (remember the wrong Molina thread?) but takes it like a man.

I'll rather have LarryX and his alts than trolls and dishonest fools.

LarryX if you're reading this, in the real world I would be happy to share a beer and talk boxing.

            • You can blame "the system" for failing Floyd and many others out there for not getting the proper education skills that all kids deserve. Or you can blame his parents, whatever. Fair enough.

However, a big problem with this country is people deflecting the blame of their problems onto the government and their parents and everyone but themselves.

The fact of the matter is, Floyd is damn near 40-years-old. Once you reach a certain age, you should want to better yourself intellectually. And someone with Floyd's money and stature, it's HIS own fault if he never took the initiative to learn how to read better and improve his education as a whole. He's had all the time and opportunities in the World to do so, but HE choose not to.

And while I do think it's cruel to make fun of him for it, it does send out a good message to these young guys out there who dream of being a superstar athlete or rapper or something like that. If you can't read, it will come back and bite you in the ass eventually, and people will take you less seriously because of it. It doesn't matter how much money or success you have, not many will respect you if can't read. And these guys can harp on about how they don't care about "respect" or "what people think of them" but we all know that's horse****. Floyd has never taken criticism well, so you know this is eating at him. And it would eat at most people.

Now, with all that said... with this coming out so close to the fight, I am interested in seeing how Floyd responds. Will it motivate him in training, or will it throw him off his game? So that will be interesting.

Also, I guarantee the buy rate for Mayweather/Maidana has jumped up big time because of all this. No one gave a **** about this rematch, but who doesn't want to see Floyd fight now, no matter who his opponent is? Everybody's going to want to see how he responds to all this, if it impacts his performance, etc. Not to mention if Maidana takes a couple of shots at him about it at a presser or something like that; it'll only fuel people's interests.

              • You can't be a 37 year old millionaire and blame "society", "the school system", "daddy" etc for being illiterate.

But it isn't Floyd doing that. It's his dorky fans scrambling to explain the situation.

Floyd's own explanation would probably be something like "Books is gay, only paper I need is dolla bills!"

Which is actually much more respectable than blaming "society" like the generic ******* turd in my avatar.

Im sorry im legitmately curious as to why you think this. How is it his parents or society's fault that he himself chose to drop out of highschool?

                  • I don't think he was arguing that. He was just using what other people have posted to lead into his own point. ^

I don't think many people here understand how difficult it must have been for Floyd to grow up in the Mayweather family. For example, his uncle and closest family friend, Roger Mayweather, was only a boxer whose net worth is merely $20 Million.

How many books can you get for $20 Million nowadays, really?
