I'm going to be realistic and say that the most he can go is 168. He's small mw as it is

Small MW? How do you classify small? He has a superior KO % in the division and is known as a huge puncher.

RJJ wasn't that big of a MW either. That never stopped him from going to HW.

I can't even argue anymore. Golovkin is now a tiny MW who is too short/small for 168 but can beat all the fighters there except Ward.

he'll get schooled by andre ward and destroyed by carl froch at 168
I think he's too little for 175, his power will mean nothing at 175, he doesn't have much speed either and his chin questionable

dont compare GGG to Roy, fighter like Royjones, Mannny, leonar, hearns or floyd can conquer many weightclasses because their's superior athleticism.

At 5 foot 9 I would have to say 168 if Kovaleigh moves up to 190 than 175 can be added to the list

Has he ever been dropped ? So how is his chin questionable ? Because he got his head snapped back didn't Ward almost get knock out by a club fighters at one time ?

he haven't had legit contender in his carreer, i dont say his chin is bad just questionable.
let him fight another power punchers or move-up challege bigger man so we can see how good his chin is.

And Ward already tested, he fight punchers like Abraham and big man like Froch

                    • I think he could go to SMW but he would not be so special there. Staying at Middle is probably best.

He could step up and take some cherry picked fights at light heavy maybe but he is far too small to really make a lasting impact there.
