There was nothing Rubio could do the enforce his mandatory position? Was it really only if Sergio won? If so, that's his own fault

Weird thing is that a cuple of days ago Abel Sanchez said in ESPN deportes that he did not think Rubio would take it and that he would price himself out, well it seems to me that he heard that and went on to prove him wrong.

Whining ass Cotto fans in here. If Rubio's the best middleweight willing to step in the ring with Golovkin, then this is what we get.
Golovkin would rather take the titles off Cotto, Quillin, and Soliman. If none of them want anything to do with the best middleweight in the world, then he'll take out whoever is next in line.

Good fight for Golovkin, bad bad bad business move on the part of Rubio. He's the mandatory for the lineal belt...hold out put pressure on the commission to be of it's word if not threaten lawsuits. Grow a pair man and fight for it. Seriously they are gonna let cotto hold that belt until he can find the highest bidder to lose it to. He ain't fighting no other champion at 160. He'll get a bunch of catch weight defense...get your shot Rubio it's literally your last...

which is more important to posters-the division have a unified champion or seeing GGG unify the division?
What I'm saying is that I don't think Rubio taking GGG's belt will bring unification any closer. All it will mean is that Rubio will be avoided the same way GGG is being avoided now.
