Marquez is not under contract with top rank. I pretty sure this fight could get inked. Marquez never been stopped nor will he bring it on!

Juan Manuel Marquez IS under contract with Top Rank. You guys think Bob Arum let him fight Pacquiao 4 times without signing a multiple fight deal? come on don't be silly.

And no, this is not going to be a Golden Boy / Zanfer promoted fight either, Beltran the head of Zanfer works extremely close with Bob Arum, being with Zanfer is basically being with TR. (See Marquez, Chavez Jr etc). When have you seen a Golden Boy/ Zanfer fighter on showtime? there is no such thing.

The only way this fight happens is if Marquez leaves Top Rank.

I like Shawn Porter vs. Keith Thurman better but if Porter fights Marquez in November or December, I'd be for it. I'd be shocked if Kell Brook defeats Shawn Porter.

Man you gotta laugh the hate for Arum is stronggggggggggg. Here's a tidbit Marquez has a parent promoter...it's not bob arum....it's....ZANFER PROMOTIONS. If Bob had all the rights to Marquez we would be seeing jmm vs pacquaio 5 but we aren't are we. So yes this fight can happen and likely will happen as it's marquez best shot at a title against someone other than Pacquaio at 147..we know floyd ain't fighting him again either.

Is Porter a Haymon fighter? If not, it's possible. That seems to be the beef now, Haymon/Floyd vs. Top Rank.

If a Golden Boy fighter doesn't fall under that umbrella, Hopkins just proved they can make a fight with an HBO fighter.
