See I told you guys. For everyone who said they were "boycotting" the fight (lol my ass) 3 more would take your place. And we all know most of you planned your Sat night around the fight itself. Don't gotta lie.Comment

i dont care what casuals or hardcores do, i work hard and enjoy the fruits of my labor and if i want to watch a shiat card on a channel i pay $12 a month for, better believe ill watch it... but i can tell you that most people on here that talked crap about the fight likely streamed the fight for free.
You dont care what boxing fans think? Umm why are u here? I actually like different fans opinions. We cant always be right. I also pay for show time. .. and hbo... saw the highlights the next day.. had no interest in a guy ranked #77 fight the champ. I actually do stream garbAge Ppvs that dont deserve my hard earned MONEY. Espn is also part of my package and I dont watch everything they give.. my good friend Kev does.. no biggieComment

Busted... Sho who?I think the posters who are bit*hing and complaining are the posters that dont have a showtime subscription.... i mean for the posters who actually have both like hbo/showtime like myself and actually being a hardcore fan of the sport, and not having shiat to do why wouldnt i watch this card?? I've been watching boxing since the 90's and have seen worst matchups.Comment

I have a colleague who used to be a big boxing fan and only watches it occasionally these days. Today he stops by my cube and starts going on about how he was browsing channels, saw boxing and decided to watch. He caught the Peterson and Garcia fights and couldn't stop raving about Garcia. I didn't wanna ruin the party so I didn't tell him what a mismatch it was. I did tell him that Peterson may fight Garcia next and he said, "why? Garcia would kill him!" I agree but the bottom line is that Saturday night got him hooked again. Team Garcia has a nice strategy going; don't count Garcia out just yet.Comment

Take into account that HBO has many more subscribers than Showtime. The powers-that-be probably do consider it "worse."Dunn, GGG didn't do worse according to Dan Rafael:
Here are the average viewership figures for all five of his Golovkin's HBO fights, in chronological order:
• Gregorz Proksa (Sept. 1, 2012): 685,000
• Gabriel Rosado (Jan. 19, 2013): 813,000
• Matthew Macklin (June 29, 2013): 1.1 million
• Stevens (Nov. 2, 2013): 1.41 million
• Geale (July 26, 2014): 984,000
