    • That's because some fans tune in, in the hopes that Garcia loses..he has strong hate. It will help him in the future.

Ppl need to just give it a rest. The whole selling mismatches talk is tired. Not everyone is an elite fighter, some fights will be against big names, some will be against not big names. Garcia had a really hard fight schedule the past couple years, and had a streak of fights where he fought top solid competition and did very well against them. Let him have his one or two quiet tune ups or cherry picks or whatever you call it. It's not like we wont see him in against a top name eventually. If all the top names fight all the top names all the time than boxing would end up as jaded as the UFC with it's champions sporting 30W's - 20L's records. Fkn embarassing. Boxing still has some elitism to it, in UFC there are like 5 fighters who are elite, and the rest just keep losing to each other over and over again. That sht is tired. Structure and balance is needed. Cant fight all bums, but cant always fight the very best option back to back to back to back to back. Too much of anything is not good.

If you wanted to watch all along, fine. But everyone who spent a month complaining and then went ahead and watched anyway better not say a damn word next time they hate whatever mismatch is being thrown our way.
LOL!!! You been posting here for five years. Fans talk **** all the time. Hell, nobody are here has ever ordered a Floyd fight. Yet the man's boxing's biggest PPV star ever. And the mofos saying they don't order can usually be found here giving live play-by-play during his fights and are the first to post when his fights are over.

Either way, I understand where you're coming from. But fight fans are gonna watch fights. And no matter the level of boxing IQ around here. If a person follows the sport closely enough to post here regularly. More times than not if a fight is on "free" TV, they're gonna tune in. Hell, as hard as I am on GGG and as critical as I am about his level of comp. I'm yet to miss a GGG fight that's been televised. I'm a fight fan. I'm sure I'm not in the minority.

          • There you go, I knew it. All the whining and moaning helped the fight. The fight attracted so much negativity that it did well. Which sucks, because the card ******. I have a strong feeling that the majority of the 800k were the loudest fans pre-fight, the one's ****ing their chest, saying they're not watching, they'll be out with their girlfriend(meaning their hand), or go out with the "boys".

            • Nothing but BS, anything to cover up the lost so they won't loss more viewers specially cause the Mayweather fight is coming up and it's another ****ty card so far!

You think Haymon wouldn't jump to these numbers so he can collect a bigger cut?

Espinosa is covering his ass cause his days are numbered. Every time he publically opens his mouth he bring negative attention to Showtime!

              • Well it wasn't on PPV, why wouldn't I watch a beating when I knew there was going to be one.

Really? The majority? You think more than 400k people were on the internet forums or whatever social media complaining?

If anything the proves the people complaining were an irrelevant minority. I'd be surprised if the hardcore internet boxing community was larger than 10k.
