What I see is Danny knowing he's in range to land something big, and him just saying "**** it". He's basically risking getting caught(why he turns away)but is dishing out something that he knows if he lands will have his opponent on ***** street. To me, that's not counterpunching. That's just taking chances. I mean, he doesn't even look at the punch when it's landing(why he misses a lot). He just knows it's more or less in the sweet spot and goes for it. Whatever, it works for him because he has stopping/dropping power but don't try to make me consider him a counter puncher because to me he is not.

Its as if he times his opponent and throws as soon as his opponent throws hoping his shot is more effective than his opponents.
Yes that's exactly what he does. You know why? Because he can get away with it against non-punchers like Khan, Morales and Salka. He has a good chin and knows these guys are not dangerous (for him) in an exchange. Danny is a clever boxer and as I said, knows exactly what he's doing. Luck has nothing to do with this.

He couldn't do that against Matthysse because Lucas is a big puncher. It would have been too dangerous. When your opponent hits hard, you have to make him miss first then make him pay. The harder someone hits, the harder it is to counter him.

If Garcia did what your implying he would have suffered 3-4 loses by now, Garcia knows how to pick his spots. Of course he is more of a risk taker because of how good a chin he has but even Morales stunned him, even Judah hurt him momentarily.

This is boxing, there's little to no luck involved in it. It's all styles at the top, and Garcia's style is very effective for him. He has excellent timing and a great power and chin to go along with it. Hes going to be a top fighter for quite some time. Deal with it.
Lmao this fool said the same thing about Broner. Then Broner took an ass whooping and he came in here like "I can't believe I didnt see this coming. I'm so disappointed."

Been saying this for ever. It's what makes Danny dangeorus. He has amazing power and he punches WITH you. So, a lot of guys become shy to even let them go because they have to expect to be hit in return, since his timing is very good as well.

To say he doesn't counter punch is ridiculous he was catching khan with that shot even before the knock out he managed to counter punch mattaysse too it might not be his bread and butter but he does do it. But using the salka fight judge his skills is kinda lousy considering who salka was I mean if you were a world champ that knows you can hurt this guy and he can't hurt you with only three knockouts wouldn't you go in there and just throw caution to the wind and beat that ass or would you sit back and box him all night...

Garcia does have good timing, but not amazing power. Amazing is when a fighter doesn't have to wind up much (or at all) and can still hurt his opponents. DG has a 58KO%. He would be lethal if he was a better puncher.
