If its not a pull counter, then its not a counter.

I called it before the Khan fight and in the Khan fight he showed the world his #1 attribute. Boxing isn't checkers, it's chess. And Danny checkmated Khan without him even seeing it.
Thank you. Look at any counter puncher. It takes them a few rounds to get their timing down, study their opponent and get into a rhythm.

Garcia is more of a brawler but with less volume

He does gas in the later rounds from throwing all those haymakers early

The knockout punch of Salka where he threw a hard straight to the body and hit him with a no look left hook is similar to the punch that Mosley caught Floyd with. And the result would've been the same if he ever fights Floyd

Garcia is way too slow tho.

He is but you have to respect his hard jab or straight to the body which makes you lower your guard

Thats the perfect combination to land on someone whos fighting in a shell defense

Throwing exactly when your opponent is throwing is impossible, unless you're a psychic. You can only throw after (maybe a split second) your opponent has thrown his first punch, therefore it's a counterpunch.

Danny clearly knows what he's doing and it has worked well for him. I wouldn't call him a pure counter puncher though.

No, that's one form of counterpunching. When a fighter swings with their opponents, it's because they're timing their punches to counter the punches being swung their way. It's another form of counterpunching.

I mean, come on, really? It's basic stuff here.

The thing is, its not as Danny is even looking to bob/weave/duck/block what's coming his way prior to firing off his shots. As soon as he sees his opponent swing he swings as well with no regard for defending what's coming his way. Its as if he times his opponent and throws as soon as his opponent throws hoping his shot is more effective than his opponents.

Think of the term counterpunching in this case as you would counteroffensive or counterattack in a war-using heavy offense in a vulnerable area to deter further offense from your opponent, not as a defensive response to prevent damage.
