lmao!!!! im too entertained from the comments you guys are all crackin my shi*T up. anyways while Garcia has beat some good names he should of been facing someone worth a damn tonight. Herrera had a little cred. and it helped that he beat Garcia in a lot of peoples eyes. but to go to this unknown guy who we ll never see again that aint a good look. coming off the wins hes had he should be facing names only and eventually he ll have to move to 147 where even bigger challenges wait.

      A

Mismatches from top to bottom , a joke of a card .
Garcia should fight Herrera after this shameful match . Rodka was beaten before the diary round . What a joke and disrespect for the fans

Black eye on the sport to be honest. I'm not against fighters having tune up fights but do so against the proven journey men in your division.

I didn't say Peterson was the fight I wanted so their goes about half of your ****** post. There are easily 4 fights I'd rather see Danny fight but I was responding to a moronic post which claimed that Salka was the best available option. I then pointed out that he clearly ****ing wasn't because Peterson fought right before him. I don't give a **** if they are trying to build a fight; that still means he's available they are just too big of ****s to put it together. But that's what people do when they disagree, they divert the attention from what I was actually saying and turn it into something they wish I said.
            1. You brought up that Garcia didn't fight Peterson, and I gave my opinion on why the fight didn't happen. If you don't want to see anticipation for a fight being built, do yourself a favor and watch/read something else.

            2. I never said anything about Salka being the best available option for Garcia, so you should have geared your reply towards the person who actually said that. I'm assuming that person doesn't exist though. I listed every top 10 contender, and why they weren't available tonight. I didn't list Peterson (along with some others) because the person I was talking to excluded his name. Instead of looking at our conversation and using that to understand my response, you got caught up in your emotions and insulted me instead of being a grown up and, you know, talking about it.

            3. Haymon and Showtime aren't giving me anything. If I don't want to watch a fight (or anything for that matter), I don't tune in, instead of complaining. You could have easily turned off your TV if this fight was going to send you into this type of nerd rage.

              1. I like watching/reading boxing and part of that is showing whats wrong in boxing. This is one of those things.

2.The person I was responding to was you so no they weren't made up. You listed the best available options and said they were as big of a cherry pick, so let me ask you. By putting the best available options on the same level as Salka are you not saying he/he's as good as the best available option? As far as what you were responding to, I'll be honest at this point I have absolutely no idea what it was. However most of my initial post and the part your upset about had little to do with him not fighting Peterson and everything to do with you and others like you who keep defending this stuff which is clearly nothing more than a money grab, and many of your comments in this thread do exactly that including the ones you've written to me.

3.Yes they are giving you something. You're right I can just not tune in but I pay for my Showtime subscription so that I can watch boxing, so when I'm given this I am being robbed. If I choose not to watch it my bill doesn't go down. That's why I'm in my "nerd rage" everyone in the world saw that this was trash from the second it was made (the entire card, not just the Garcia one) but the "professionals" kept trying to tell us how wrong we were. Then tonight happened and us dumb fans found out how right we actually were.

Was I emotional? Yea i admitted it. This is a subject that pisses me off to no end. Boxing is my favorite sport, I watch great amounts of it, have tv and magazine subscriptions, I buy tickets to fights, I buy just about every PPV and continue to support these people who then in turn reward me with this nonsense. Nights like this illustrate exactly how broken this system is. Then there are people who come in and defend it even though they know how bad it is and it pisses me off. I stand by everything I wrote, just if I wrote it now it would probably include less profanity.

The way Danny Garcia was swinging for the fences with reckless abandon was just sad. This guy thought he was prime Tyson the way he was swinging on helpless Salka. Shameful fight. Why didn't he do that against Herrera? Danny and his team need to go and in the next few years they will disband like throwing rocks at a flock of pigeons.

This. Too true, they were incredibly smug about themselves as well. Good on you guys for destroying a sub-par lightweight at welterweight.

They have to act smug and arrogant even when they've earned it the wrong way. They still think they've earned it through skill and praise themselves at every chance they get. I've been around those kind of people my entire life. Horrible sociopathic people only out for themselves and destroy any vulnerable people in their wake and afterwards pat themselves on the back and then mock you for being so weak and helpless. There is no humanity in these people. It's just search and destroy and profit from other people at all costs.
