I personally believe that it's a prizefighter's right to make money, and wouldn't ask him to sit on his hands because other guys don't want to lace em up against him. I'm sure he could have gotten other guys in his division to fight him, but the people we would want to see him fight were either coming off loses, lost to him already, just fought, or have fights coming up. Everyone available might as well have been Salka, because people would **** on him just the same for fighting anyone not at the top of the division.

If he fights Peterson next, I'm sure people will figure out how to make that a cherry pick as well.

Except that one glance at danny's record shows he's fought pretty much just as many bums....lmao at tune up 60% of his wins have been tuneups...mofo's will ignore facts over fandom.

60% of his wins can be considered tune ups...that's all I have to say...that should end this discussion entirely unless you are absolutely a fanboy looking for an argument...like seriously the kids record speaks for itself cuz.....if he fights peterson lol..he should've f'ing fought him tonight...

Same day weigh-in's are a whole different topic. To that I say - FINE.

But as long as we have Friday weigh-in's for a Saturday night fight, my statement stands. We need more one-division greats who make 20 title defenses , instead of Belt-hoppers who collect trinkets by jumping around the divisions, most of the time not even beating the REAL champion.

Just look at Robert Guerrero. Somehow he is a 4-division champion (technically) but most of his title wins were for the Interim belt. The same thing with Gamboa. A career of collecting Interim belts and jumping up in weight.

When Garcia fights 5-6 times like they did I'll give him the pass. Just bc his first soft touch went wrong this year doesn't mean he gets a pass on a second one. So far he has been a 9-1 and 33-1 favorite for 2014. Not exactly taking on the best
