Anybody surprised Salka got seltzered by Danny?

I would enjoy whore slapping some Salka fans in a straight line if they gave Salka a modicum of a chance against Swift.

Looks like Al Haymon is now protecting Garcia from real threats!

This whole entire backlash is sour g****s about Garcia beating the great foreign hope Matthyse. You're whole deny deny deny position only belies the fact of the matter.

What about Peterson, Broner and giving Matthysee the rematch?
Why does Mattthyse deserve a rematch? Was there some sort of controversy about the first one?

I'm from pittsburgh and I box at the gym salka used to be a coach at. He doesn't coach there anymore, he wasnt there when I joined. Point aside I remember the owner and coach of the gym telling us and other fighters that salka never plants his feet when throwing shots, and lacks power doing so. We saw this sat night, bouncing around like a basketball. Anyways, besides the Technical aspects of the fight, he shouldn't even be in the ring with swift. Swift fought some tough opponents recently, kahn, matyse, Herrera... Some good fighters...swift obviously has more experience.. Fight was a good experience for salsa, hopefully he learns from it and becomes a better fighter

Broner was on his way to being the Lightweight King, and next thing you know he is a Welterweight Title holder being mentioned among the likes of Pacquiao and Mayweather.

Garcia (if he wants to) is completely justified in trying to rack up title defenses and building a legacy as one of the best 140 pounders of all time.
I have no dog in this fight, but dude, garcias balls are lodged so far down your throat its amazing you can breathe. You are embarrassing yourself, just giving you a heads up.

They were also fighting a couple times a month, you get Danny fighting a couple times a month and nobody will complain about a rod salka here and there...

but he is not, he has had 2 soft touches this year, and struggled with one of them so they put him in with an even softer touch.

Soft touches or stay busy fighter are to stay busy when there are not any real fights available so you don't end up sitting out forever like andre ward.

Garcia was not in that position, he could have fought peterson, could have fought broner, could have fight matthysse, could have rematched herrera, could have fought demarco. He was not in a position where he needed a tuneup to stay sharp and ward off inactivity, so there isn't really an excuse, especially considering that herrera was a soft touch.

I watched MX boxing last night & these bouts, minus all the analyst BS this am... Peterson ;in a gym/heavy bag work out vs a guy who came in 4 the $$, not much else, not called once 4 the many borderline & several low blows he connected w/?..Garcia beats him though neither would commit...Garcia's bout should never been made...good work Latham in approving it...the only thing I saw, any 1 agree? , in the reply of the 3rd KD only showed the final 2 blows, particularly the devastating hook...there were 3/4 hard blow b4 that & IMO the ref let this go 2 long, that last hook should never been thrown if the ref was on top of it, he kept giving the impression he was going 2 but didn't til Rod went down & his head bounced off the floor...definitely a poor xample of letting a bout go 1 punch 2 long, IMO...
