Its fine for a man to hit a woman if the woman hits the man first. Its called self-defense because you are under physical attack from another physical being.

Lets say for example a small dog started biting your ankles on the street - are you going to kick the dog to get it off you and maybe disable it or are you going to let it bite you. Just because the dog is physically weaker and smaller doesn't mean it can't do you physical harm.

Same applies to a woman - she is just an animal too (we all are), maybe she's smaller and weaker than the man but she can still do you physical harm just like that dog on the street.

We need to stop elevating woman to some sort of "divine" or "untouchable" status. Woman can be very evil, manipulative, vindictive and dangerous animals.

[QU eitherOTE=BIGPOPPAPUMP;14837863]ESPN has suspended Max Kellerman for admitting on one of the company’s radio shows that he once hit his wife before they were married, according to a report on the New York Daily News’ website Friday night.

The 41-year-old Kellerman, also a boxing analyst for HBO Sports, reportedly made the remark Monday as a guest on the “Mason & Ireland Show,” which leads into the Los Angeles-based afternoon drive show Kellerman hosts along with former NFL defensive end Marcellus Wiley on ESPNLA (710 AM). According to a story written by Daily News TV/radio columnist Bob Raissman, Kellerman mentioned that he and his wife, Erin, slapped each other when both were intoxicated during a party years before they were married.

What this society should be teaching is that it's not okay to for a man 2 hit a woman and it's not okay for a woman to hit Man.

"Industry sources said while the content of his story was disturbing, the suspension was all about Kellerman, who once worked for ESPN New York Radio, not adhering to ESPN brass' warning concerning the Rice topic being a highly sensitive one. "My understanding is that it was part of a larger conversation ESPN had with all its on-air people," a radio industry source said. "Kellerman obviously didn't pay attention.""

Sounds like Kellerman ignored inter-company politics. On one hand, you do what the boss tells you. On the other hand I think its an overreaction and doesn't reflect well on ESPN. ESPN should offer Kellerman a public apology.

If you need to hit a woman to defend yourself you must be a complete total wimp.

I've had women attack me all-out. I'm basically the same height/weight as Sergio Martinez (not a huge guy) and I pretty effortlessly just grabbed them, restrained them and told them to calm down without needing to hit them.

I guess if you're married to Ronda Rousey/Chyna/buff ****** you can say you had to hit them in self-defense. Or if she has a weapon.

Yeah, would really need to hear the audio but it sounds like he was passing it off as okay, normal as something that "happens" or even something amusing.
