Kirkland is tough fight for anyone, Angulo dropped him with a perfect counter, i evens saw his eyes roll back. He just popped back up and stopped Angulo.

Entertaining fighter with a whole lot of heart. Can't wait.

I see it 60 /40 in favor of Canelo. But Kirkland can definately pull it off if he comes in at 100%.

      good fight.

Canelo is the freaking man if he fights Angulo, Lara and Kirkland in the same year.

It'll be an action-packed massacre that ends up with Kirkland beaten down in under 5 rounds.

I was lukewarm to the Angulo fight but Canelo gets a pass on that one because he was coming off a loss. But Lara & Kirkland are two ballsy choices, both of which fans wanted to see / currently want to see. And to think he'll probably follow that up by going after Cotto. I'm loving this "let's ****in take everybody out" version of Canelo and the 3 fights per year plan.

Hoping very much he keeps up the string of tough / interesting / exciting opponents as well as fighting frequently (when you're talking about a PPV fighter, 3 times a year is about as frequent as is practically possible)

Canelo said he wanted to go down as a great, even an all time great. He has a long way ahead of him ofcourse but he's on a distinguished path. Taking on all challenges, he might lose some but he fights everyone.

Does Canelo have a showtime contract? Now that Bhop is fighting Kovalev, we could see more GB fighters fighting on HBO.

Canelo is a God for fighting dangerous guy after dangerous guy like this. He's the people's champion. Hate all you want, the fans vote with their dollars.

I don't know why anyone would say this is a clear win for Canelo. I believe Canelo can win I give the fight 60-40 in his favor, but to underestimate Kirkland is a fools error. This fight could very well look like Kirkland vs Tapia and that doesn't bode well for Canelo. But the fight could also look like Canelo vs Angulo, which doesn't bode well for Kirkland. The fight could even be a hellish war for most of the fight until the ref stops it. If you think Canelo is going to walk right through Kirkland, I envied you to watch Canelo vs Josesito Lopez, took some time for Canelo with all his "power" to stop him.

I think Canelo wins a hard fight. But I believe Cotto is the real winner here, because if this fight happens, the potential damage Canelo could take even in a win will be costly come May.

Yes Kirk hits like a effing tank. I'm still not sold on Alvarez as the future YET, but I definitely am not a hater of the kid. I wish he would at least add some important members to his team since he won't change teams.
