The logic here is so ridiculous. You're acting like Ward has 1 win in his whole career
      It makes sense though.

Kessler beat Froch in 2010, and didn't fight that many times until they met again. Froch fought better fighters in the interim which led a lot of people to rank him higher.

It's pretty much the same scenario.

A lot of people had Froch winning that fight. I disagree, but it seems to be considered an "either way" kind of fight.

Not the case with Ward and Froch.

It makes absolutely no sense. You're comparing 1 win (Kessler over Froch which was disputed) versus the fact that Ward dominated everyone in the Super Six.

The annual rankings were published "after" Edwin already lost to Ward.

We're talking about who was ranked higher before either fighter fought Froch or Ward.

Rodriguez was #7 or #8 Ring Magazine and was #6 TBR ergo not a top 5 SMW. In fact, as it turned out he couldn't even make SMW.

Since Ward, Froch has beaten Bute top 5, Kessler II top 5 and Groves II top 5 fighting five times to Ward's two and is likely to fight again before Ward does.
Now I'm starting to wonder if you're blantantly lying or making stuff up.

Here's a "Source" from (TBR), like you mentioned above, dated Nov 13 before either guy fought Froch or Ward and Edwin Rodgriguez is still ranked higher:

              http://www.tbrb.org/2013/11/17/12-november-2013/

              Super Middleweight Champion Andre Ward

              1. Carl Froch
              2. Mikkel Kessler
              3. Lucian Bute
              4. Robert Stieglitz
              5. Arthur Abraham
              6. Edwin Rodriguez
              7. Sakio Bika
              8. George Groves
              9. Brandon Gonzales
              10. Thomas Oosthuizen

It's on a lesser scale - and besides, people are saying Ward over Froch because he beat him, and not because Ward beat everyone else.

Why are you putting after in quotation?

Besides, it's a lot fairer to look at those, because everyone knows that fighters rankings often get elevated as they have a big fight coming up. You can also look at how many weeks they've been on the top 10 list. I'll bet anything Groves has been there longer.

                    I think that's implied.

Ward proved he was the best at SMW because he dominated everyone he faced including Carl Froch.

Kessler got bashed up by Ward in the fight prior to Froch. All Froch-Kessler I proved was that those two were evenly matched but not as good as Ward.

                      http://www.badlefthook.com/pages/box...s-october-2013

                      Super Middleweight (168 lbs)

                      1. Carl Froch (1)
                      2. Mikkel Kessler (2)
                      3. Robert Stieglitz (3)
                      4. Sakio Bika (4)
                      5. Edwin Rodriguez (5)
                      6. George Groves (6)
                      7. James DeGale (7)

                      8. Badou Jack (-)
                      9. Brandon Gonzalez (9)
                      10. Marco Antonio Periban (8)
You're missing the point. It doesn't matter whether Rodriguez was ranked 5 or 8 the point is that Rodriguez was not a good opponent for someone like Ward. In fact the only reason he fought Rodriguez was because HBO had already turned down Dimitri Sartison, Caleb Truax and a list of other crappy opponents Ward was trying to get paid to fight.
