To me, Bernard finally decided to retired. I am sure, HBO will pay him for medical problems and happy retirement. If you are blind, ******, ignorant USA patriot, you cant see that. Find different sport to be fun of.

Hopkins is a freak athlete who has mastered both the art and the science of boxing and will have figured out exactly how to deal with Mr Kovalev. That said, it's hard to see how he's going to neutralise the Russian for a full 12 unless he can hurt him early, get his respect, and maybe make Krusher hesitant before launching attacks - which would be a career first and would also give Hopkins vital extra time to effect his own plan. I'd love to see B-Hop prevail, and with him nothing is ruled out, but it seems significant that a couple of fights ago he couldn't deter Karo Murat who was competitive through 6 rounds and persisted throughout despite Bernard picking up an easy decision win in the end. Kovalev will bring the heat like Murat did, and in much the same way, but this guy's power is on a different page. And, fantastic physical condition notwithstanding, Hopkins is almost 50.Comment

Horse manure.
After he got up from that flash knockdown in the first round, Calzaghe practically chased Hopkins out of the ring. All Bhop did for the rest of the fight was run, hold, and lie down on the canvas pretending he'd been fouled.
All round, it was a shameful display from a guy who wants to be remembered as an ATG.
I'm surprised Hopkins fans keep bringing this fight up. You'd think it would be something they'd want to try and forget about.Comment

How can Hopkins say this when he fought Taylor x2, Dawson x2,
Pascal in the first one and Calzaghe it was him that left beltless?
And none of those are even overly good fighters either.Comment
