Comments Thread For: B. Hopkins: Kovalev Will Leave Beltless Like The Rest

Unbeaten Russian Sergey Kovalev, who beat Australian Blake Caparello on Saturday, will fight Age-defying Bernard Hopkins in November.

Hopkins is trying to become an undisputed light heavyweight world champion at 50.

No exact site or date for the bout was announced, although promoters said it would be in early November on the East Coast of the US, making New York or Atlantic City likely choices.

Hopkins, the oldest major world champion in boxing history, is the International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Association champion.

I see Hopkins getting points knocking kovalev down but losing rounds on being out worked.

Hopkins by late stoppage or close points win

No matter what happens you can always count on Hopkins for a good quote.

Hopkins will make Kovalev look as useless as he made Antonio Tarver Look

YAAWWNN... For some reason I still don't think this fight will happen. I just don't think BHop is about dat life. I won't believe this until I see them both inside a ring. Until then, hush clown.

New York or Atlantic City? That probably means Hopkins' buddy Steve Smoger will be reffing. Strike 1 for Kovalev already.
