Well, Like usual I didn't get my advanced prediction anywhere within the realm of correct, but still got Rios win. I'll watch the fight soon and see what went on.Comment

Chaves abused of clinching and later complained that Rios was making this fight dirty (too much holding also brings bodies and heads closer so Diego should be aware of this). I heard that Chaves had the ability to box smart (which was very limited tonight) and that he was a beast with great power (it also didn't show tonight). I think that in terms of big shots Rios was able to wobble Chaves a few times and Brandon was also attacking the body all time. Nobody wanted to see a DQ and I think Chaves was a bigger disappointment than Rios who as always was receiving punches trying to make it a war to please the public.Comment

Both boxers were dirty but yeah, I also didn't see what Chaves did to get DQ'd. There was one more round left. The ref could have let it go.
Also, I don't think the referee gave Chaves enough warnings before the first point deduction. That certainly wasn't fair either.
Rematch...with a different ref!Comment

The only two facts that are worth paying attention to:
- The scores at the time of the stoppage.
- The round in which the word "disqualification"/"disqualify" was first uttered.
Even if you favored one fighter over the other, it's hard to avoid coming to the conclusion that what transpired tonight was shameful.Comment

Even without the stoppage this fight was nowhere near the hype people had for it. TBH I was starting to visit other tabs on my browser and left my stream up so I could listen in.
If the most talked about things of your fight are the points deduction and the DQ, its a terrible fight in general.Comment
