It is laughable to think that anyone would consider these two fighters world class welterweights. As far as the ref is concerned, the only time he should be at another boxing match is if he has paid at the door to get in.

That was some prison house shhhh tonight. You can't complain for either side, I mean let's be absolutely and perfectly clear that Rios is a charge forward fighter who tucks his chin into his chest thus making him lead with his head. That cannot and should not be argued, or even debated. Now Chaves did thumb the shhh out of his eye. Did he deserve it? That's for that man across from him to decide. Fight was dirty from both sides in the end..I ain't mad about that. What i'm mad about is that the guy who was leading on the cards and had fanboys in here expecting an easy fight for Rios gave it up via a DQ. That's what folks should be mad about, considering Rios made 36x more money for this fight than he did.

I dont know why people are complaining about rios head? he has always fought like that even in the amateurs. chaves wanted to slug it out early but once he realized rios has an iron chin. chaves started to hold and would also use elbows. The way chaves fought from the 3rd to 8th rounds you could tell he wanted no more trades with rios.

what i meant is that after the 3rd chaves started to hold viciously and kept crying when HE was the one that made it a crappy fight. rios came to fight.

Chaves came out like gang busters at the begginig then got chin checked in the second and decided to hold the rest of the ****in fight. Chaves is a *****, was looking for the ref to help him all night. Chaves = biatch

Finally a referee enforces the rules. Chaves was doing some good acting all night and I'm so happy Vic D seen through Chaves bull-crap. I have no problem with the stoppage bc Chaves was clearly not going to stop acting like a fool
