kovalev is clearly a better talent than undefeated or any version of pavlik.
Kovalev is Frankenstein. How is he sooooo much more athletically better than prime Pavlik?

You're turning Kovalev into Sweet P or Ray Leonard.

Neither guy moves that great in Kovalev or Prime Pavlik, but both were very powerful and very good at what they did.

Pavlik was more proven, which is a fact.

I can tell you don't understand basic body movement.

Pavlick was a galloping type fighter. Kovalev has a semblance of coordination, and core balance to him that Pavlick never had.

Given an inch/opportunity......it's definately possible if Kovalev lands flush.

FWIW it seems all of these ATG fighters with Iron chins all lose the same way.....Age catching up to them and either getting stopped or getting KO'd.

Again not saying that will happen.....but it sure is possible.

This.....However people get too caught up with what fighters look like on paper.

So while Kelly was the more accomplish fighter.....no way in hell is he the better fighter based off the eyeball test and how they look in the ring.
hes reflexs BEEEN slow he fights dirty and smart and koevelev has never been tested in the late rounds where bernard dominates.

Both Hopkins and Kellerman sounded ******ed in this interview. Kovalev sounded more coherent than both and English is his 2nd language.

You know I can see B-hop winning this.

I'm just saying that the possibility of him losing is there given his age.

he was in full self promotion ATG boxer dbag mode tonight. he was also playing mind games with kovalev and it showed. kovalev i felt looked somewhat flustered at hopkins answers and it showed in a lot of his answers. he kinda blanked out and couldnt speak english and had to go back to his russian interpreter. awkwardly entertaining interview.
Kovalev did look a little uncomfortable but it may also down to the language barrier.

From Bernard's perspective, there is absolutely no doubt he was testing the waters to spot any weakness in Kovalev.

Expect an interview tomorrow where he tells us he hi-jacked Kovalev's interview and did what he wanted.

I wouldn't read too much into it at this stage, though it'll be interesting to see if Kovalev is star-struck by Hopkins during this period. If he is, he is in trouble.

What a surprise....a racist ****** thug acting classless and the 'others' showing nothing but class even after being exposed to ape-like behavior...is this eveh a surprise? I was so elated when Calzaghe punked this racist prick...only the sight of hopkins squirming on the ground aftera Kovalev shot would top it (and of course Maidana beating the duck again but this time by ko

lol if you have to ask how kovalev is more athletic than pavlik then you dont know much about sports. and stop using extreme examples to try to disprove a point. kovalev is much more agility and athleticism than pavlik. he's more on the ball fighter than pavlik who was basically a schlepping plodder.

sure pavlik is more proven but that isnt what were are talking about here are we?

yup. i hope that wasnt a truthful answer about boxing bernard and not coming after him. otherwise, he was star struck and it could doom him in the fight if he shows too much respect to hopkins.

he has to disrespect hopkins and i think he has the personality for it. you know hopkins is gonna say the wrong thing and that's all it takes for a cold blooded raw natural russian like kovalev to get offended and go full eff you mode in the fight.

bernard bit off more than he can chew in taking this kovalev fight if everything is on the up and up.
