I'm no Kellerman fan, but he didn't say anything wrong there. Just a case of Hopkins being Hopkins.

Bernard not trying to win any of you "NEW BOXING FANS" over, his work is already DONE! And documented...LOOK HIM UP! This fight don't Cement ANYTHING, all this **** about him "Top 10 All Time If He Beat Kovalev as if Kovalev a legendary fighter or something. This fight don't help or hurt B-Hop. It is like adding a Cherry on top of a Ice Cream Sundae if he wins. The most impressive thing if he wins would be the fact that he is 50 YEARS OLD.

Kellerman was trying to paint Kovalev as if he was already on B-Hop level and/or already surpassed him. B-Hop is the LEGEND, Kovalev is still fairly early in his career and haven't done anything to come CLOSE to be considered "GREAT" or a "LEGEND" YET!

You know I was going to post this as well.

Very rarely do you see B-hop get hit by something flush.

However, all I'm saying is that B-hop is close to 50 and will show up old (in the ring) some day. If it's November and he isn't as sharp....he picked the wrong guy to go against IMO.

jesus christ do you even have a modicum of perceptual ability and intelligence? that is not what kellerman said or even intended. he's trying to say at his age, to fight a guy like kovalev would be in his opinion the greatest thing he's ever did.

no way in hell can any self respecting above ****** level person can come to a conclusion that max was implying that kovalev is on bhops level or already surpassed him.

              seriously.

That ain't sensitive. There's no respect in showing any weekness (giving any props) to an apponent. He said his piece, basically "this fight don't make me" told max "he lost" and walked off like a "g" (probably with b*tches). While max was still at work.

**max wasn't wrong in his assessment though**

                  (Which is remarkable)

But ODLH and Trinidad were bigger wins IMO.

I mean if you are looking at names on paper....then yes.

                  Also both are HOF's.

With that said.......I doubt any real boxing fan predicted Oscar over B-hop or Trinidad over B-Hop.

Now I'm not given Kovalev the win just yet.....but I'm not labeling B-hop the favorite in this one, nor do I think this is a predictable fight.

FWIW I like Oscar, but dude looked like **** against Sturm. It's evident he had no business at MW.......which is why I knew he had no chance against one of the greatest MW of alltime.

If you disagree, please name a bigger win than this.....given the circumstances.
The Pavlik fight was much similar and possibly bigger given that Kelly was coming off a very impressive KO of Jermaine Taylor...

At the time, Pavlik KO Taylor >>>> Kovalev possibly KO'ing Stevenson
