Marquez Unsure of Fighting....

Marquez sees the competition very tight. The prospective opponents can erase his nirvana of a Pacquiao KO. Surely he won't fight Thurman who can expose Marquez's chin. Trainer Beristain welcomes Porter but Porter is no pushover, he is not a Likar Ramos who Marquez chose before. Nor is Porter a Katsidis. Porter is a rising star who will fight his all. After Marquez's first fight with Pacquiao, Marquez balked at a rematch because he was demanding a $700K payday and went into hiding for 4 years before Marquez agreed to fight him the second time. Marquez's last fight (Alvarado) Marquez purse was just above $1M, but he wants $20M against Pacquiao which only shows he doesn't want another facelift from Pacquiao. He'd rather use that money to pay for a surgeon that will apply anesthesia for that facelift. All 4 fights against Pacquiao resulted in Marquez's face damaged.

I never said Mexico doesn't have great champions. What I'm saying is marquez built his name of pacquiao. Those are the fights that define his career although I think he blatantly cheated with memo. Pac is still the bigger draw so why does he want an equal split. And why doesn't he give pac an opportunity of redemption like pac did for him many times. That's because he is a cheat and and a first class a hole.

Juans career is deep and built off of his talent and multiple championships.he has fought several world champions and climbed multiple weight classes..Manny HAD to rematch Juan because he never had a clear win..Juan put Manny to bed and both agreed bfore the fight that it was the last fight

10 years from now marquez will regret not granting pac one rematch. He can make in one night the total of their previous four fights. If you truly believe your better than pac and can make a lot of dough you will take the fight. Unless you have doubts.

That's exactly the case; Marquez has doubts, otherwise, he wouldn't have had any problems fighting Pac again. He could have gotten that fifth title if he was sure he would win but he didn't.

I also don't quite get his fans; they're claiming he should have retired after KOing Pacquiao instead of supporting his decision to make history? What kind of fanbase acts like that? He's doing pretty good for his age so if I was them, I'd say GO FOR IT! If I thought he was better than Pacquiao, I'd say fight him again to get that title, no matter how many times you've done it already. Winning a match with a su****ious KO and then running out of the sport seems kind of cowardly to me. Glad he didn't do that, though.

He used to be one of my FAVS... then when he wouldn't give Pacquiao the rematch. That's when respect started to go out the window... Pacquiao gave him all the rematches he asked for.. Pacquiao asks for one rematch and he turns him down. Then he starts to look like he's on steroids as soon as gets Herrera in his corner.. This guy needs to just go away now like Mayweather.. I think the statement about you used to respect Marquez is completely false. You're trying to sound like you have a legit argument, and you don't. You say PAC gave him all the rematches he wanted. No he didn't first it took years of begging and fan demands for a rematch. Then they fought and one knock down determined the outcome. That's how close it was. Marquez wanted another rematch. Roach and PAC were both like " it's senseless to fight again and for what? We already won. We don't need another fight." A couple more years go by while fans demand more. PAC gives in, he doesn't extend open arms to a rematch. He doesn't just say oh you want a rematch ok here goes. 3rd fight is forced while PAC and roach still cry, " oh Marquez keeps crying about rematch. Why another fight. It's beating a dead horse." They fight and Marquez is robbed. PAC knows it and wants to redeem himself to show that he really won. Marquez is like , " Nah, I think I'm retiring. This was some bull****. I really won and got robbed. Why fight again, all the people saw what happened. " so they fight the 4th fight. He has a strength training coach that was accused in the past. Now the PAC fans claim he got roided out after he knocked out their beloved Pacman. They do need an excuse for why their idol fell flat on his face. It was really because a superior boxer put the smash down. Now Marquez needs to extend a rematch to PAC ? Now it's Marquez's turn for " rematch? What for? Tell him to stop being a cry baby" that's how I see it. I don't think you even respect yourself, talking all that madness.

You are complaining that Manny waited but the truth is that Marquez priced himself out and then went on to fight someone for way way less. So that goes to show that he was over-valuing himself.

More laughable is reading how you are crying about Marquez wanting a THIRD fight and talk about a 4th fight was necessary ..... For one, Manny moved on to 147 and higher so the only way is if Marquez came up or met at a CW.
So all that complaining by you where you say that Marquez deserved better is laughable because Manny still fought him 4 times YET YOU ARE COMPLAINING!

Marquez had said that there was no point in fighting Manny because his desire was to get a title at 147. Now he has the chance and instead of going for it and making his biggest payday he opts out by pricing himself out.

As for the PEDs use, having MEMO and now seeing acne on a 41 year old is not good. The signs are all there unfortunately for Marquez. I said it way before Marquez won that getting MEMO was not a good move especially if he wins by KO ..... now at 41 we are seeing the new and improved Marquez.

Manny sued Floyd because Floyd and company were saying that Manny is a drug cheat with no proof. Manny had risen to fame boxing wise and was trying to start a political career and being accused of that is not good nor right no matter how you look at it.

Marquez's mistake is getting MEMO ..... an admitted PEDs cheat! In Marquez's last fight, his body had acne and that is very su****ious considering what he was suspected of and him being 41 years old.
