This. I like Kovalev, can't stand B-Hop. However, his recent fights have actually been watchable, and he didn't necessarily have to take this bout. I don't hand out kudos for fights that should happen, but B-Hop has been around the block so many times that it feels like he's deserving. I guess I'm in that good of a mood.

****, why not wait until after the fight. Kovalev may feel the pressure and make mistakes or lose a UD after getting frustrated.
Either way, win or loss, big props to Hopkins for not pulling a Cotto. Guess what? This doesn't make "financial sense" either. Please don't fall throughComment

All those people that kept saying Hopkins would never step into the ring with Kovalev, etc., owe Bernard a big apology. This guy is 49 years old, trying to unify all of the LHW belts and taking on a huge threat. Show the man the respect he deserves.Comment

Hopkins is going to blast Kovalev. Reason why he's been able to be doing what he's doing at his age is because there's really not that many decent boxers at the weight. HW division has much better material and yet they shit on it.Comment

As per Kathy Duva and IBF, Hopkins-Kovalev is signed. Contingent on Kovalev not losing Saturday. #boxing
