great fcking post.WTF are you talking about man? When is the last time Haymon did business with another promoter? Top Rank just had a promotion with Lou DiBella, and he does co-promotions all the time if it makes money Bob dgaf. You have no clue what you are even talking about, Haymon takes 10% which is half of the usual rate. He also throws in the dad and brothers, whatever their names are, to follow you around and he keeps tabs on you. But he can't be that good of a businessman because HBO the biggest boxing network in the USA told him thanks, but no thanks. Then he tried to buy Golden Boy from Oscar when he was in drunk or in rehab, and even drunk Oscar was like "you're tripping b*tch."
Mayweather has been making money, but Showtime has been losing money that's great for Mayweather but not all the other talent Haymon has. They first of all have not gotten good exposure, it's still all HBO talent plus Quillon who is still the opening bout on Shobox I believe. If making money for the fighter means no one else gets a piece of the pie, then the people paying for that will lose interest. That's what happened with HBO, and what will happen to Showtime once the Mayweather deal runs out. Worse, if Espinoza gets fired or his contranct isn't renewed which I think will happen Al Haymon won't have a guy on his payroll in there.
He wants a boxing network like the WWE Network and like that it will fail because there isn't enough of an audience to support the costs. $10 a month isn't **** and WWE routinely draws way higher numbers than boxinng on HBO. They actually have PPV's for free with that service and it's still fading. Mayweather will still be on PPV, but Al will still want you to watch his boxing network... HBO, Showtime and ESPN have way more variety and offer what I need boxing wise. There is no way you can support a Haymons fighters purse with how little money they'll get from having a service like that. Al Haymon is a great guy for a fighter but not overall for the sprt, and really Top Rank has had a hand in making stars of Oscar, Mayweather, Manny, Cotto and a slew of other stars. They aren't some evil empire, they know what they are doing as well.
that's exactly what al haymon is trying to nefariously engineer. he's just another criminal gangster trying to control over all of boxing so he can set up rigged fights and maximize profits.
shameless immoral men have been trying to do this since the 20s. some succeed but eventually die out. this is what al haymon is trying to do now. he is hoarding talent by enticing them with fat fight purses to fight no hopers in order to lure them in and ink them to long term contracts and eventually pilfer enough talent to destroy his competition and then boom, he gets tv deals and boxing is his, for the hypothetical future.
I doubt it happens now due to social media and fake moral high ground pc nature of our society but it wouldnt surprise me. other promoters need to nip this Al Haymon HIV problem in the bud before it becomes full blown AIDS and we all know there aint no cure for full blown aids.
other promoters need to ban together and get rid of this criminal gangster and refuse to work with him. that way he loses his hold on his fighters and they are forced to either sign with the old school traditional promotional companies.Comment

so let me get this right the reason you hate floyd is because of what other fighters do? give me a breakEspinoza is trying so hard to be the most powerful and best known exec associated with boxing that years from the now the effects will be felt at Showtime. Haymon and Schaeffer built all of their shhh on the back of Floyd using him as leverage while negotiating his deal they negotiated deals for themselves/fighters in the process. It's one of the things that irks me about Floyd, he may have gotten what he wanted in the end but at what cost? Guys like Quillin have earned a fortune not taking on a single legit threat yet and will continue to do so because of course Espinoza wants to keep team haymon happy.Comment

As stated, it's only the backwards ass casual fans who have no stake in a fighter's lives that hate Al Haymon. Yet all the fighters and his workers appreciate him to the fullest.Comment

I actually wouldnt mind this fight. As long as danny doesnt fight twice a year. I wouldnt mind 3 rod salkas and one or two BIG fights every year. At least they stay active and dont only fight twice a year, at that sometimes once a year.Comment
