GGG needs to move his head more, and there are times when he does keep his hands low but I think it's also because he is punching so hard and is so eager to knock your head off.

Chavez Sr was a once in a lifetime fighter, I don't know if GGG is that just yet but he definitely has the talent.
The truth is GGG doesn't have to do much of anything with the level of fighters he's fighting. He could go in there and get 3rd round TKO's against any current fighter at 160. He could expose his chin all he wants, he could keep his head still, he could be flatfooted. It won't matter. Sturm can't punch, Soliman can't punch, Geale can't punch, Murray can't punch. Out of all these guys who can't punch, I rather just see him fight Mora, to see how Mora's slick, awkward style would do against GGG.

As far as powerful MW's go, Rubio and Lemieux have the best KO percentage after him and they are like C+/B- level at best.

I will even say that at MW, besides Golovkin and Chavez Jr, there's not even a big, big threat to Cotto, who's just a MW on paper, but not in actual size.

Sr makes some insightful and relevant comments there, especially about Ward being a nightmare for Golovkin. Like many, I'm still interested in seeing him fight a live opponent. He's proved he can crush cans but we've no idea how legit he really is.

No question about it GGG is far superior to Chavez Snr If you can't see that then that is your fault.
Chavez Snr is blatantly is going to be biased and favour his own son seriously do we need to question ANY of this???

Someone like Meldrick Taylor come on... GGG would make easy work of he wouldn't have needed to the last few rounds infact he wouldn't be trailing.

Posts like these is why GGG is criticized so much. His fans hold him to legendary standards.

GGG is too skilled for him, way too skilled. It's a major mismatch IMO.

I can see that as well, that's why I see it as 50/50. Reason is because just as easily as how I can envision GGG beating JCC Jr to a pulp, I can see Chavez taking his punches and dishing back punishment in the levels GGG has yet to see. Perhaps not fold him but definitely grind him down. GGG is very skilled but I don't think he has faced a come forward, granite chinned, punching fighter in the likes of Jr. JCC Jr. might not be the most threatening fighter to a pure boxer or mover but GGG is a stalker. He won't fight off the back foot against Chavez and brawling is when Chavez does best. Sergio was able to do what he did to Chavez due to his footwork and movement as well as awkward angles, if Jr can prepare himself well and dedicate himself to the beautiful sport of boxing completely, I think the fight would be competitive at the very least. Plus, we have yet to see how GGG fills in at 168.

De todos modos respeto tu opinión, hermano.

                    Great post......

Exactly what I said. Chavez Jr is HUGE and very strong. He punches with great technique also. Triple G is the truth, but he isn't a boxing god by any means. He's never fought anyone on the level of Chavez Jr. If the guy commits to the sport, LOOK OUT.

Amazing how Chavez Jr was a bum when Sergio beat him now hes apparently a very good fighter, a threat, has big potential etc all because he might be facing GGG.

                      Utterly pathetic.
For the record no amount of bull**** you spew will change the truth that Chavez Jr got his ears boxed off by (a poor brawler with no real boxing ability) in C level Brian Vera not long back.
