Please don't figure out now that GGG actually has better defense than Ward.
Golovkin has flaws as well, deal with it! And that flaw is his defense. He got hit cleanly by Geale before the knockout just Geale hasn't got a powerful punch/Golovkin's chin is strong. And I don't think that when a more skillfull, more dangerous opponent will fight with him, Golovkin will become suddenly a defensive, technical wizard. Maybe he will rely a little less on his chin but otherwise I don't think so that he could outbox Ward, Lara and other elite technical fighters. Golovkin has one of the best offense right now in boxing, but whe it comes to defense? Hell no! His conservative high guard what he put up sometimes is not a big problem for a quick, precise, skillfull boxer.

Haha... another joker that thinks Geale landed that punch with full force.. GGG even rolled with that one a bit too, after he already started throwing his own punch. Impressive stuff but is overlooked because certain people just can't stand the fact GGG is highly skilled to go along with his power.

Well he does get hit quite a lot. I think it's more to do with his style, get hit and hit back harder.

Russian you are wrong in this one, Chavez had a great defense. You don't fight over 100 times, get knocked down once and not have a good defense. He had a great chin no doubt, but his head movement was amazing.

He moved his head so well and most shots never landed flush.

Okay, so you think his defense is great and even better than Ward's? If you think that clean hook what Golovkin got to his head by Geal before the knockout was impressive staff I don't know what to say. Watch it again, that's not what you should call "roll" that's what you suppose to call a clean headshot. I just watched it again. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/07/genn...n-knockout-gif I suggest yu to do the sam.
And what's this "can't stand the fact..." talk? You think Golovkin han't got flaws? Is that a problem if someone says that he has flaws? He is a skillfull fighter but if you say that he is more skillfull than Ward, then you are the joker from us, not me.

I think you're thinking of drop as in he puts his arm down, which he doesn't. But what those clips show to me is that he does get lazy with his right while throwing the left and that Chavez is right. It's a game of inches.

That Randall right that knocked Chavez down would've left most fighters snoring on the canvas.
