GGG vs JCC Jr. Would be a war. Bombs and iron chins for days. That's a 50/50 IMO due to GGG's and JR's style. Both love to trade, both giggle at bombs detonating on their jaws and although GGG is better skilled, JCC Jr is huge even at 168. Good scrap right there. Hope Chavez can get past the always exciting Froch and GGG finally realizes there's nothing for him at 160 and moves up.

It would be a war, but I think Golovkin hits hard enough to get Chavez Jr. running after a few rounds, which would let Golovkin win the rounds clearly. I think Golovkin beats him up and gets a late stoppage or comfortable decision win.

Chavez Jr vs GGG wouldn't be a 50/50. I think it goes rounds only because Chavez chin is amazing but in the end, GGG beats him to a pulp and the fight is stopped.

GGG is too skilled for him, way too skilled. It's a major mismatch IMO.

              My opinion........

My opinion on a GGG/Chavez Jr fight is that Chavez will win. His skill and growing boxing ability is under-rated. He is a good offensive fighter with excellent punching technique for a fighter who didn't have an amateur career. His talent is natural. He appears to be hungry and fighting for legacy now and is ready for primetime. Triple G is the truth BUT who knows what he'll be above 160lbs? He's unproven. He's never fought a fighter as good as Chavez Jr or Ward, who beats him as well. Both of these fighters will prove to be too big for Triple G in the end. Let's not over hype this guy like we did Ruslan P. You see what just happened to him, right? He's a good fighter with power and tenacity but so is Chavez Jr.

                Based on what?

Based on what is this fight a mismatch? Your admiration of GGG? LoL. Chavez Jr is not Geale or any of these other fighters who refuse to engage with Triple G. He WILL engage for 12 rounds and do it with skill and stamina. Who has he fought that has had the chin to withstand his punches? Chavez Jr can give it and take it for 12 rounds. Can GGG? That is the question. Let's not act as if he is proven above 160lbs where Ward and Chavez Jr can beat him with their styles and SIZE.

^^^ Chavez may be a big 168er, but hes never beaten a SWW. Most recently he needed 2 tries to get past blown up fringer Vera.

Chavez Sr was arguably the greatest Mexican fighter of all time! However, he contradicts himself here. One minute, he's talking about how Cotto's counter-punching skills will trouble GGG, because he doesn't keep his right up when throwing a left to the body. In the next minute, he says that GGG is a bad fight for Cotto, because Miguel is too small and Golovkin hits too hard. He did get that part right; Cotto is too small to stand up to the best MW's power.

JCC knows 100x's more about boxing than everyone in the forum combined....

And he's 100 percent right....Ward would absolutely embarrass GGG
