The fight itself is not bad. The ppv cost might be. But the fight is a damn good style contrast and lose able fight for the star fighter.
What is so bad about Pac vs Algieri?

yea, i know he can't help himself...even with a potential flop, he's not gonna pass up the extra money

This is a tougher fight for Pac than people think. I give a slight edge to pac, but wouldn't be surprised if Algieri can pull the upset. Pac doesn't have alot of options right now and I like this fight.Comment

Because the righteous Floyd fans never and don't scoff at Pacman's choices of fighters.its bad but its not really super bad, only thing thats makes it worse is the floyd fan vs pac fan situation, they all scoff at floyds competition so i understand the backlash... will it be at a catchweight???, rios coming off a loss was worse than anything IMO that wont be toppedComment

As in crickets at the mgm after paying a huge site fee. Risky play here for Arum. I'm pretty sure they offer him good cash in Macau but not the way some make it out to be.Comment

Same here. Horrible stylistic match up for a fading Pacquiao. Definitely wouldn't be shocked if he lost. I wouldn't be shocked if he knocks Chris out either. That's why this is a solid fight on paper, imo.Originally posted by THE REED™Ill be alllll over that shit.Comment

I was against it but not so much now. Algieri doesn't have a big name and most thought he was an ESPN fighter being force fed to Ruslan. Well it turns out he's a damn good boxer and an undefeated champion. I know he only has one big win, but he looked great. I don't think this is the best fight, but it isn't bad. It's not PPV worthy, but neither are a lot of fights on PPV. That's just how boxing is today.Comment
