Wlad clnches, as does Ward and Mayweather those guys were recognised as p4p no.1 and no.2 until recently ! What's your point here ? I'm stating this has potential to be an extremely ugly fight between two guys literally the same size and known to clinch excessively in certain fights.

Not in the real world ? Have you seen Chisora versus Fury 1 ? That was as ugly a fight I ever saw, if not the ugliest. Of course Fury is super exciting so it is failed to mentioned when talking to his fans. Even in his other notable fights against tough punchers he's shown nous in when to clinch.

Fury has his reservations over his own chin and durability as much as his detractors do, though he will be the last to admit it. I remember the Abell fight well, the guy looks like he's in a real flap in the instances Joey touched his chin.

Imagine a scenario where Fury retires if he loses to Klitschko. He promised that already though right ? Doh, silly me. Lets imagine Fury sticks around in defeat, now their is some fun to be had with his fans, like yourself for instance

Brahhhhhh hahaha you cannot, you CANNOT defend Wlad's clinching, you cannot bring Dre or Floyd up, it's not the same!!! Wlad clinched how many times during the Povetkin fight!?!?! Probably the most disgusting heavyweight championship fight ever, absolutely disgusting! Floyd has nearly always fought bigger men, who often rush him...Wlad on the other hand is almost always bigger and stronger than his opponents, AND STILL clinches so much it makes the viewer cringe!!

I've just seen exactly what you are with that post. I don't want to waste anymore time with you. You're completely and utterly bias.

Vitali will be a gentleman and escort the sobbing Hayden out of the arena before things get too bloody. It's gonna be Lennox vs. Vitali all over again.

Fury wasn't hurt or bothered by anything Abel hit him with. He took that fight on short notice while about 30lbs overweight and treated the whole thing as a joke.

If a referee permits it you can not criticise the boxer in question for utilising said tactic, if the referee intervenes sooner it becomes a better fight immediately and to exempt Povetkin from all blame is ludicrous, he played his part also with the stooping bull rushing tactics, you only need to reference the Huck fight to see he has an history.

It was an awful fight, an exceptionally frustrating one and by and large one I did not enjoy. Call me what you will, I care not. Wlad schools his opponents except in very rare circumstances and the taller his opponent he generally puts on more of a performance and clinic. I'm looking forward to this one as much as yourself is by the sounds of it, in fact I will go as far as to say with the buzz and excitement on NSB for this one I'm looking forward to it more than the Pulev fight which we'd been made to wait patiently for also

If those tactics are good enough for the recent p4p no.1 and no.2 although I know they also draw their own criticisms yet are widely accepted as defensive geniuses why should it be unacceptable for Wlad to be regarded the same ? Because he is white, European from a former Soviet state ? Or some other reason I am overlooking ?

The fight should have been treat as a joke, some of the photos of Fury from that fight are hilarious and a message of how not to live your life lol.

Abell is an absolute can, a D level opponent. Fury looked visibly unnerved numerous times when Abell caught him, thankfully he came through the fight without incident like the USS and Pajkic fights or we could have had a scenario where Chisora was mandated for Klitschko, what an awful defence that would have been and would no doubt have drawn as much criticism for Klitschko having to facing the mandated Leapai.

Fury ballooning between fights is unprofessional, Wlad will never been seen in retirement looking like Fury looks between camps. Call it what it is but that is detrimental to your career, Fury should look no further than Manchester cohort Ricky Hatton to understand it did him zero favours when facing the elite fighters in his division.
