Official Tyson Fury vs Wladimir Klitschko Post Fight Discussion Thread

You guys are so funny. Like the announcer who after the first 2 seconds of the fight says "figher a is establishing his position."
Fury and his family are uncomfortable in the lime light. It makes them feel uneasy, not Klitschko! Unlike Bronte, who only has to worry about whether he had a good hair day these lads are working lads. they obviously don't like to be in suites.
But Fury did seem to burn nervous energy as someone else mentioned. He isn't comfortable stepping up to the biggest stage/ limelight. There was an interview some pages back where Fury said he's going into this fight relaxed with nothing to lose. The last statement is correct.
Wlad is just mr. Cool as per usual, it's impressive.Comment

It's called intelligence and self-control.Comment

I like that Fury is taking chances at press conferences and he has done that several times before but he always comes across as awkward and at times uncomfortable. I like that he's trying but he lack the natural charisma of a Naz or Eubank or even Benn.Comment

It bores you because it is not childish. When you grow up you will understand.Comment

Fury's uniform looked ridiculous, both his 'formal' one and the batman one, choose your pick.

Dude is like James Bond, it's impossible to rattle his cage. His is the epitome and personification of 'cool' itself.
When Klitshko is done with Fury, Fury is going to find solace in his doctor's the****utic service. I have a feeling Fury will be one of the fighters I root for after his appointment on the 24th of October. A humbled fighter who understands the order and his position in the heavyweight food chain.Comment

In what world is Pulev more proven than Wilder? They've both beaten taxi drivers exclusively. Joshua's competition is the same level as Pulev is used to fighting on, bar 1-2 fights.
He doesn't need to do what you want him to do. Why would he use his jab to break down an opponent when he can use it like a real man uses it and sets up the right hand? Ustinov
Jennings was headhunting in the Szpilka fight the majority of the time and the stoppage didn't come as a result of bodyshot. Is Szpilka on any sort of level worth talking about anyway? No.
Chisora had great bodywork after Haye too. But Fury put it on him and his body.
Cunningham > Szpilka.
I said his jab is more proven. It's one thing to set up a few right right hands against hopeless opponents with it, using it for more rounds against opponents who don't get knocked out by a wind blow is a whole other thing.
You asked who has Jennings knocked out or down with a body shot so I responded. And no, he wasn't headhunting. He was methodically breaking Szpilka down from round 4, only to knock him out in the final round.
He had a decent body work (@ "great") against guys taller than him, that's all.
I agree, but stopping an undefeated HW without issue > going life and death with a career CW in his third fight at HW.
Anyway, it looks like we're going nowhere with this debate, lets just enjoy the fight and hope that the better man (Wladimir Klitschko) wins.Comment

Klitschko looks nonplussed as Fury is jumping up and down, as his dad is screaming...all the while calmly stating that there are mediations and therapy available...and Fury? takes his watch off, sweating, and goes even more insane....the entertainment value is off the charts for these set ups! Both guys have embraced there roles with a gusto.Comment

No. It's called being boring and having the personality of a peanut.
Wlad's just going through the motions here. He's consistently shown that he views Fury as another David Haye, all talk and no trousers, when the fact of the matter is that Haye and Fury are almost polar opposites.
Fury's no yapping dog: he's the real deal, and Wlad's going to be in for a rude awakening come fight night.Comment
