The only two real big guys I recall going the distance/long into the fight was the crafty Thompson (awkward, tall southpaw) and Wach who must have one of the most ridiculous chins ever. Wach probably should of been stopped inside 1 or 2 and would of if it wasn't for that chin.

If Wladimir comes out quite fast I really don't see Fury taking the right hand at all & I personally think Wladimirs power maybe isn't quite what it was. I don't doubt he'll get up and try fight on but the writing will be on the wall at that point.

If I go with my head I think Wladimir detonates on him early-mid.
Could also depend on which Fury shows up. Maybe he will prolong it with movement and trying to keep it long like he has in recent times.
The fight intrigues me, I'm a bit torn on it but starting to feel its more because Fury has made a fan of me and I'm perhaps buying into his trash talk a little bit if that makes sense though Wlad has slowed down.
What really intrigues me in this fight is the jab.

I want to see how Wlad reacts when/if Fury lands a long jab square in his face and is out of range before Wlad can counter. If that happens, I'll be intrigued.

If Wlad lands a right hand in the first round, like you, I think the writing will be on the wall from that point on - If his power is like it used to be i.e. not sloppy like it was against Jennings.

Basically what you're getting at is that he has been able to clobber the cement booted defenseless bums of the world. Yes he can do that , just like anyone else.

Who has Fury fought with a good jab?

Wlad at least, has fought Pulev.

Wlad also fought Tony Thompson twice and he has a very good, underrated jab.

Good point. I was also thinking of Thompson.

Dude you still haven't grasped this yet, follow the thread link I gave you. Not only do you not need to sig it first you need for us both to confirm it, avatar duration ? Take your ass over to the thread so we can discuss it in there.

Agreed, it would have been an enjoyable spectacle of a fight had he have enforced himself early. That fight was a truly frustrating one that, I never wanna see that again for as long as I live. Watching the Pulev fight when Wlad literally clinched from the opening bell I was deeply frustrated right away, the moment he was pressed to fight we saw a different champion, I expect Fury will see this same side to Wlad's game. Poor lad.

                Pulev's jab is completely average.

Haye's jab is infinitely better and more powerful. Wlad took it away in impressive fashion. He also fought TT & Chris byrd who had good jabs.

Fury has fought Cunningham who has a good jab. As well as Kevin Johnson - when he was still trying to win.

What good jabber did Wlad ever out jab? He was getting outjabbed by potato peeler Brock and he lost the battle of the jabs against Pulev within the first 10 seconds.

Wlad cannot jab and move at the same time. He can't jab going back wards and he can't jab going forwards. He can't jab on the double or the tripple and when he does its a poor technique knocking at the door jab.
Wlads 'jab' is an illusion, mystified by the help of bottom feeders walking straight into it.

Vlad has never really fought a guy with the exception of Thompson who can move well in the ring. Fury moves well, his team is smart and trains him properly, I think they know what he has to do. But Fury has to borrow that page from Ali Liston and know when to go for it. Theres a point in that fight where Ali establishes that he is faster and can hit liston. He had already showed he could avoid Liston.

There are about a million scenerios i can imagine where Fury is better and does not get the nod. I really hate when that happens cause it makes me hate boxing and no Klitschko ****** would admit it if Klit loses on points and gets a favor.

Also interesting enough! Angel Garcia says it best. he was acting very ignorant of this fight but real gold came out of those Borican jaws...then he started to hum pinky and the brain. He is dead on when he says a fighter needs to come up the middle on Klitschko. jan jab uppercut. Fury can do that...not like Tyson but he can do that and catch the china chin.
