If Fury goes in against Fury with the same mindset he had against Jennings, Fury would be the favorite. But I believe Klitschko knows he's got a massive task ahed of him. And the same applies to Fury.
tyson fury is a legitimate threat so we can safely guess grabimir klinchko will show up.

      Wladimir should have been disqualified.
It was a horrible fight. Pabon should have taken a point from Wladimir early.

      • Lets not go on like the Cunningham knockdown was a freak occurrence he was hurt badly several times in that fight, out on his feet vs Firtha, knocked down vs Pavjik, he was stunned multiple times in the first Chisora fight too.

Yh they're heavyweights but I think its fairly safe to say he doesn't have the greatest of chins.

It wouldn't even be in discussion who would win if Wladimir didn't look old against Jennings.

I think like many Fury has made a fan out of me and its almost brainwashing me into thinking he is this threat. He is still a big clumsy oaf if truth be told.
If Wladimir still has plenty in the tank he should blast Fury out in 4 or 5 rounds without much fuss.
Fury has the size advantage, that is all he has in his favour. Youth & size.

I almost can't believe I keep telling myself he has this great shot when he probably has as much of a punchers chance as all these other moderate punchers in the HW division.

I don't think an early blast out by wlad is the most likely option, he doesn't blast people out early these days.

Always felt Wladimir does better against bigger, taller opponents and tends to be a lot more aggressive. Pianeta, Wach, Austin, Pulev & so on
The only two real big guys I recall going the distance/long into the fight was the crafty Thompson (awkward, tall southpaw) and Wach who must have one of the most ridiculous chins ever. Wach probably should of been stopped inside 1 or 2 and would of if it wasn't for that chin.

If Wladimir comes out quite fast I really don't see Fury taking the right hand at all & I personally think Wladimirs power maybe isn't quite what it was. I don't doubt he'll get up and try fight on but the writing will be on the wall at that point.

If I go with my head I think Wladimir detonates on him early-mid.
Could also depend on which Fury shows up. Maybe he will prolong it with movement and trying to keep it long like he has in recent times.
The fight intrigues me, I'm a bit torn on it but starting to feel its more because Fury has made a fan of me and I'm perhaps buying into his trash talk a little bit if that makes sense though Wlad has slowed down.

Fury will on his toes, no way he stands straight in front of Wlad and trades with him. I think he'll try and keep it long, let Wlad come to him, outwork him, wait for him to become exhausted and then stop him late.

The entire fight depends on Fury staying out of mid-range

if he can do that he has a good chance of winning in my opinion. Wladamir late ko is most likely, but if fury can keep it between long range where he can use his reach, and then up close with superior inside ability then he's got a chance

                • I was surprised Wlad was able to bully Pulev all over the ring. He kept driving him backwards and Pulev seemed too weak to do anything about it.

I don't think he can do that to Fury. Wlad is done for if Fury has the strength to push him back and onto the ropes . If he can push a tractor , he can move Wlad.

However if Fury has this advantage , expect the ref to jump in every time and save Wlad from what he has made a career of doing to other fighters.

                  • I think Fury is getting beat. I'm not a Wlad fan but I don't think Fury can do it

hope so anyway, i want wlad to lose.

If i had to bet, i got fury on points, his putting it all on the line, he said he would retire if he loses.

                      Im on the fury bandwagon
