At some point Wladimir will have to go all guns blazing ala Thompson 2 as his usual strategy simply won't work against Fury. Now that's when it will get dangerous for Fury as Wlad punches very hard, and if a haymaker lands then it's probably good night. If Fury sticks to the plan and doesn't get caught, he stops the exhausted Wlad late.
    ^ Excellent post!

Fury fans should take a leaf out of Denium's book, the rest of you are just not doing it right!

I think that the end result will be different of course but otherwise I do think Fury will come out boxing fluidly and tactically and try to show us something different.

He had Povetkin beating Klitschko and if that "fight" had been officiated under the rules of boxing he would have been correct.

He couldn't out-box Povetkin or keep him on the outside , so what is this fictitious aggressive version of Wlad going to do it against him? He had to foul, maul, lean, clinch and hug povetkin the way he did because he knew would have have gotten chinned any other way.

The Wladimir winning by KO is the front runner hypothesis here mate.

Whenever Wlad has been pressed he has pretty much always resonded with a highlight reel KO. And yes, even the hardest chins succumb to Wlad's power (except inhuman Wach of course).

Povetkin did have better than average chances there but they were still outside chances.

Proposing that Povetkin would have won that fight under any other conditions is a bold move.....

Bold move JAB/Ned or whatever you like to be called.

            Bold move, from a ******, ****** man!

chisora said fury has no power

so thats making me second guess my pick of fury

fight depends on how much wlad has aged and how much wlad wants to win

because if he just poses and doesnt throw all night scared of getting hit then he can lose a decision

i thought wlad jennings was way closer than nearly everyone else had it

wlad has to be absolutely sure hes gonna land to throw and he was confused with jennings movement, and his trainer jonathon banks is awful

If it was then he would have boxed instead of throwing 50 more clinches than punches in the fight. Why did he shat all over himself in panic, jumping into a clinch every time Povetkin got in range? He did because he doesn't have the skills to cleanly box Povetkin.

Whenever Wlad has been pressed he has pretty much always resonded with a highlight reel KO.
And what about when he got batted around the ring and had to run for his life against turtle footed Peter. Couldn't get the knockout there. What about when the PGA tour member retiree journeyman 90s relic pressed him, we saw what happened there. Or even against Slow Brew.

And yes, even the hardest chins succumb to Wlad's power (except inhuman Wach of course).
Except notoriously china chinned Williamson who had been stopped in 1 by Mesi, Wlad couldn't drop, hurt or even beat him. Instead got his own china chin exposed, was outboxed and had to quit inside 5 rounds. Perennial journeyman Everet Martin. Wlad fought an out of shape , shot , fat old n slow Martin and couldn't hurt him. He couldn't hurt or stop Ibragimov who was put down by Austin and couldn't beat him, Haye took all his shots without ever wobbling, same Haye who had a glass chin at CW getting stopped by 40yr old Cat Thompson, dropped by bum Lolenga Mock, Mormeck and a shot Monte Barrett. Janitor Jennings was heavily floored by bum Bowie Toupu, Wlad couldn't come close to hurting him either, the list goes on and on. You can even look at some of the guy he stopped, Chambers went 12 rounds. Thompson 11. All took clean blows. A shot Byrd took many flush shot before being stopped by the ref on his feet.

Proposing that Povetkin would have won that fight under any other conditions is a bold move.....
No it's the logical one we've seen what happens to Wlad when he isn't on the back of the opponent every 10 seconds.

Btw Elroy/Hweightblogger when are you going to update that blog of yours? It's really quite an amusing read. The one you posted on Mormeck being better than any single Ali opponent was the best bit.

Ermmmmm........ yea, good luck with that. I like Tyson and think he has some very good attributes, especially his fighters mentality and size, but Wladimir is superior in every way. Especially punching power and ring IQ.

I'm not sure what you are referring to actually but I have watched boxing since the 80's. I thought I have made that clear. I'm 36 years old. Don't be butt hurt because you were born in the 90's. LOL
