Juanma should have gotten a real trainer long ago to keep him off this path but going back down to 126 is probably a good move he was too small against vargas but lopez will probably retire after 2 more fights

The really sad and dangerous part about this is, is that he probably won't began showing signs of brain trauma from those head concussions until later in life; Long after his career has ended. In my opinion, I say that he won't start experiencing an onset of complications from them until he is about 50 years old.
He is only 31 years of age now and as long as he is able to pass a neurological and physical examination, then there's no legal justification that is preventing him from earning a living; No matter how greater the risk is to his long term health, the longer he prolongs his boxing career.

Never thought too highly of Juanma. Always thought Gamboa woulda smashed him. Defense always ******.
The Mtagwa fight was the beginning of the end for him though. after that he beats Luevano, Bernabe, and marquez.. then the knockouts started every time he stepped his competition up.
Adios Juanma!

From Wikipedia: "Benitez now suffers from an incurable, degenerative brain condition caused by the blows he took in the ring.
In 1997, Wilfredo was moved permanently to a public run nursing home for medical reasons by his mother Clara, a licensed nurse."
