Nothing. Cotto is the more complete fighter, more proven fighter, has had more elite competition, has more experience at the elite level, and really has no holes or weakenesses. Canelos knob slobbers are quickly becoming unbearable, and I wouldn't be surprised to see people actually have the audacity to make a case for Canelo being a favorite in any way shape or form.

Triangle theory now? That doesnt work in boxing. People think Cotto just comes foward and attacks but hen he is ON he comes foward with angles and behind a cannon jab that lands with high% and like a power shot. Everyone is crazy to think Canelo will come foward trying to land body shots all the time like he did against Lara considering the power and accuracy Cotto will hit him with.

I expect Canelo to turn in to a counter puncher like he did against Floyd once Cotto hits him. Because none of his last opponents can prepare him for the power he will face from Cotto.

He fought Angulo two fights ago and now is fighting Kirkland. They're both bigger punchers than Cotto.

And please don't mention Sergio, that guy's punching resistance has been decreasing for a while now, he's been dropped in every one of his last 4-5 fights.


Cotto has never been a power puncher at 154 let alone 160.

Canelo will literally crush Cotto in 8 rounds at best.

Canelo started his pro career at age 15 while Cotto started his at 21. Canelo's first real test came 8 years from his pro debut with Trout. In 8 years from the start of Cotto's career he had fought undefeated's Torres, Malinaggi, and Quintana. He beat Judah and Shane while also winning tittles in multiple divisions. When Cotto was 23 he had only 18 pro fights while at 23 Canelo has had more then 40.. Of course Cotto wouldn't be much at age 23 with that experience. Lets see Canelo fight those guys with only 18 fights under his belt and see how he does. You are welcome.....

he's been stunned, knocked down, hurt, and put out in almost every division he's been in.
