I didn't think it was a bad fight, but I can definitely see some people thinking so. The contact was limited. I'll watch it one more time to see if my score holds up, but I won't be watching it again.Comment

I can’t agree with that statement at all..How the hell can a Cuban Olympian fighter who was trained at a tender age to fight a certain style flip his style like a coin and become a brawler overnight?I think so, too.
Canelo followed Lara around the ring all night. He simply doesn't know how to cut-off a fighter. Those body shots, when they landed, definitely got Lara's attention. I'm pretty sure that Landy would've engaged more if he didn't feel Alvarez's power.
This is a fact of life, and even seasoned judges think this way. However, I would argue that, in a perfect world, it shouldn't make a difference. But this world ain't perfect, is it?
I think that'll happen soon enough. This is the biggest fight a Cuban has been a part of in decades. Others will take note. It's not enough to make your opponent miss and land a few scoring shots. I think we'll be seeing some great Cuban boxer-punchers (my favorite style) in time. Everyone will remember what happened to Lara.
It’s not going to happen and it’s really not that easy. Once they get caught with a power punch in the pocket, there outta there. They don’t want nunna that..So I seriously doubt any Cuban boxer is going to turn into a brawler overnight.. You are what you are & that’s a professional boxer with an amateur style..
