Canelos a mediocre fighter. True "hypejob," IMO

No way he won tonight and many had Trout beating him.

      That is absolute nonsense!
If his career has been carefully picked why has he fought some of the best fighters of our era?

Unjustified criticism, you will always get critics but you have no room for that sort of BS imo.

Hype. He's just not that good, and imo there's nothing special about his style.

Canelo didn't beat Lara... He's just loved by the judges.

7-5 Lara! I knew the judges would be in the pocket

Canelo has heart, a decent chin and he throws strong. He just has very poor boxing skills. He's talented but has poor skills. As bad as he did, he just needs a good trainer badly as he does have tremendous potential.

He's a good but not great fighter he was given hype but a lot of fighters are and he's done admirably.

I wouldn't say he's a hypejob but he has been getting some favorable scores in his recent fights. Eventually, that will catch up to him especially, if he is truly dominated in a fight and some how the judges side with him. I know he's being called the next big thing but I'm still waiting to see it.

On the other hand, there is no way he could have looked good last night. Lara fought the only way he could have fought to get a victory (moving alot). It certainly didn't look good with the big swinging misses Canelo had last night.

This. I used to think he was a hypejob, but not anymore.

As bad as you think 160 is...... I don't think either of these guys could beat Geale or Murray

                    Yet alone Golovkin.

Who cares who GGG has fought? He beats anyone at 160. anyone

How does a hypejob beat Trout, Angulo and Lara?

You're talking MWs, but he has no intention of fighting MWs.
