Decisions like last nights followed up with comments like this douches is a big reason for racism amongst our sports fans. Cubans are going to be sore against Mexicans and Mexicans will be too prideful in their "hero" to admit what really happened even though they know deep inside that Canelo hands down got the "paid off judges" decision. Cong**** to Lara for not going outside of the ring and stomping on a judges head.

lara did not even win 4 rounds. lara was like trying to catch a greased chicken in a parking lot. when canelo got close it looked like lara was on a turbo charged pogo stick. lara did not need any sparring he only trained to run away really a disgrace. no way did he even throw 97 punches or land them. Hopefully seen the last of lara and canelo better get more aggressive also. the judge that gave the 117-110 was close. the judge is not a disgrace to boxing lara is the disgrace

The only runner in boxing I ever liked was one who punched while going backwards and that was Cassius Clay. He ran when he fought Sonny Liston who was the baddest man on the planet. Cassius beat the S##T out of him , made him quit on his stool.

Lara and May JR don't beat nothing, they both run like HE##, pot shot here and there and run like H#LL again to the other side of the ring.

Last nite for Lara and Hatton for JR,,,,,,,,grant it Jr had to stop major running due to getting OLD.

Close fight cant argue with 115-113 either way, 117-111 is too wide lara was absent in middle rounds after his cut thats were he lost the fight IMO

I enjoyed the fight, and thought it could have gone either way. Played out about exactly as I expected. Both guys were too evenly matched for a clear winner to emerge.

It's a travesty boxing yet again had to have some POS judge who was never going to score the fight for the B-side. 117-111 if ridiculous, and suggests very unfortunate things about that judge going into this.

I agree with you for the most part, I felt it could've gone either way too. I don't know why everyone is so surprised about 117-111 tho. Fact is, most of the rounds were razor close, and while Canelo was missing a lot upstairs, he did great work going to the body, which all too often gets overlooked.

This fight was truly subjective, and basically boiled down to what one preferred in a fight...outside of maybe 3 rounds, I don't feel Lara won any other rounds convincingly, but I can say the same for Alvarez. ****, I gave one round to Lara, I think 5, until I saw Canelo land a monster uppercut, during the replay!
This was truly a fight that could've gone either way, and I wouldn't have been surprised at a 117-111 Lara card, just as I'm not surprised at the same card for Alvarez. Fights are judged on a round by round basis, and aside from maybe 5, I thought the rest were just that close, so why bash a judge for giving a guy most of the close rounds, when he was the clear aggressor, and was actually landing?

I aint no Mexican. I don't give a fluck what you think. I never witnessed a guy run the way lara did. after the beating he got from angulo he runs even more. lara did not win 4 rounds. it is not dancing with the stars. hope I never see that ballerina again
