Lara's good enough to have been more active. That's what's so sad.

He's stuck in this mindset of fighting that way, even though he has the skills to be more aggressive. He only has himself and his corner to blame.

But come on, fight fire with fire?. Lara was fighting his fight , while outlanding Canelo.

Lara fought like an amateur and was too negative, kept the pace too slow. I won't argue with that, but he still won the fight imo.

i had it a draw.. had lara outlanded canelo by maybe 150-97 in power punches then we could disscuss a robbery! lara lost alot of his fans because he talked the big game, confronted canelo onstage and failed to deliver in the biggest fight of his life on the biggest stage, ppv...he should have fought more instead of running around the ring..those body punches paid dividends for canelo tonite, not saying he didnt land upstairs either, its just those body punches were herendous to lara...anyway lara did this to himself plain and simple.....iam going to re watch the fight and see if i get the same score..

I enjoyed the fight, and thought it could have gone either way. Played out about exactly as I expected. Both guys were too evenly matched for a clear winner to emerge.

It's a travesty boxing yet again had to have some POS judge who was never going to score the fight for the B-side. 117-111 if ridiculous, and suggests very unfortunate things about that judge going into this.
