Older version of Cotto, and the rounds were close and hard-fought.

Of course Cotto would still lose to Floyd. I don't think the weight matters either. Cotto has always been a really good fighter. He is not an elite fighter. He doesn't know how to adjust well. One of the reasons he lost to Margarito in their first fight(besides the plaster) is because he would not for the life of him clinch when needed but instead he kept trying to run away which Margarito had a huge reach advantage to catch him while he was running. He always loves to stand in front of his opponents too. If you noticed in his rematch with Margarito, he clinched a lot more. I think Cotto was too used to beating the living hell out of his opponents until he ran into Margarito. Even though he fought Mosley and ate like 45% of Mosley power punches.

            Who says he's re-primed?

Neither of them are prime, but Cotto looks better conditioned at the weight now than he was in 2012.

(no need to edit in ****** smilies, they don't fool anyone)

Floyd clearly beats any version of Cotto. I wonder if Pacquie can beat Cotto with out a catchweight.

Stop trying to convince yourself that he has a chance, you're making yourself look like a hater.

Can't beat old Floyd or Primed Austin Trout, but somehow he's reborned after Delvin and 2014 version Martinez.

Some of ya clowns really don't get it.

Floyd beats any version of Cotto anywhere under any conditions 11 times out of 10.

Floyd excels at figuring out and timing textbook boxers and orthodox fighters, Cotto is the pinnacle of a textbook fighter and that's why he will come up short against Floyd every time. Wide UD Guerrero style every time. Cotto is a great fighter but this is a classic example of styles make fights, and Cotto is tailor made for Floyd at any weight in any size ring with any gloves at any age.
