Al Haymon is bad for the sport. He's putting the so called 140 champ in with Ron Salsa. Sure this fight is bad but blame Floyd. He had a chance to fight Manny. He didn't have an opponent, Manny doesn't have an opponent, yet he's the one reluctant to work with Arum. Arum putting on a weak fight and yet this guy is still coming off a better win than Ron Salsa. Who else is there then then can possibly fight?

I can't see why Pacquiao won't give Marquez 50/50 for the fight. They've had one draw, two close fights, and one KO by Marquez. The PPVs are there, the Mexicans love Marquez. Pac could fight Marquez in Texas, and make mega-money. I'm tired of seeing Pac vs. JMM, but it's 1000 tomes better than fighting JMM. I even think a Crawford fight at 140 is better than Algeri, and it would be an in-house fight too.

forget Marquez, let him miss out on money he can make. Algieri is tall, moves, and boxes, and Manny is slowing down. Not saying it's a good fight, but still not compared to this Ron Salsa crap.

Not a great fight but I'm glad an honest honorable champion like algieri is getting a shot at legend hero Manny pacquiao.

He stepped into fire against Provo and came out blazing like a Phoenix. He deserves respect.

You want to blame Floyd for this? Who told Manny to re-sign with Arum? Why was Arum talking up Algeri against Provodnikov? He was setting this up from the get-go! Manny did this to himself. There are plenty of fighters in the WW division. He could pick Thurman or Khan right now. If he can't fight them because they're with Haymon, then that's not Floyd's fault.
