It's obvious PAC-Rios was a success in Macau. Otherwise, Bob wouldn't consider returning to Macau with an opponent like Algieri.

Macau casino is paying Top Rank a nice on-site fee just to host the match. Most likely in the millions. Asian gamblers spend a lot of money. There's a lot of money to be made, not just American PPV.

In terms of the actual match up, pac vs algieri is far better than Danny vs salsa.

Salsa is the 77th ranked lightweight hahahahahahahahahahahahahah.

Definitely not buying either... I'll google round by round coverage and keep up with it that way and watch it on youtube soon as I can afterwards if this is how they're going to do it. This will be the first fight since David Diaz that I haven't watched of his on PPV... Sad... Just sad... 50/50 is fair to Marquez and I've been a Pac fan for over 10 years...

If Manny had left TR, and Floyd didn't ever fight him, he would still have the choice of Canelo, Maidana, Thurman, Porter, Khan, Alexander, Matthysse, Broner, and Danny Garcia. Any of those fights are betther than Chris Algeri. Floyd tried to fight Manny twice and it was Manny who turned down the offers. Bob Arum is the problem, not Floyd. Just ask, Chavez Jr., Mikey Garcia, and Rigondeaux.

Actually it wasn't a success at all.... Right after the fight (and I'm talking immediately rightafter in the opress conference) arum said they were returning to Vegas because he had already been told early predictions showed the ppv was going to bomb

He's returning to Macau cause he completely burned bridges with the mgm with the ceo telling him to *** off

Why not? The guy has the tool to beat Pac. He's tremendously taller (5'11") longer reach (72") than Pac (& I think naturally bigger too), Kinda boxer/mover (w/c stylistically bad for Pac), With descent power (40% KO rate), Younger in his prime (30 yr. old), Came out from a good win (w/c some of pachaters claiming that Pac only fought fighters came from a lost fight), Proven to be durable & ability to absorb big, heavy blows and most of all, "THINKING UNDEFEATED AMERICAN BOXER". So why not?
