  • Comments Thread For: Pacquiao-Algieri: Bob Arum Sets Thursday Meeting

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum will meet with Chris Algieri's co-promoter, Art Pelullo of Banner Promotions, on Thursday in Los Angeles, in hopes of nailing down the details of a Nov. 22 fight between Algieri and Manny Pacquiao.

Such a matchup wasn't on anyone's GPS until Algieri upset Ruslan Provodnikov, despite the fact that his eye resembled the coin slot in a vending machine.

The fight most likely will be in Macau, Arum said Tuesday. [Click Here To Read More]

It doesn't need to sell well at least not in America. They'll feed this fecal matter to the Chinese and claim it's caviar. The Chinese are there to see Shiming anyway, so the tickets will sell well and Arum will brag about his sold out China show.

This has to be a ploy to lure Marquez in or something. Maybe they should just give him a 50-50 split or whatever's needed to make it happen. Pac-Algieri wi sell 6,000 tickets in Vegas and bomb on PPV. Arum could salvage at least one of those which is why he's gonna take it to some poor man's Dubai.

This is a joke of a fight . Who would pay 70$ to watch this fight ,? Not I .
Bob arum is killing boxing . Hbo to be blamed too if they allow this fight to happen . No wonder why ppv numbers are going down .
