Comments Thread For: Pacquiao-Algieri: Bob Arum Sets Thursday Meeting

To be honest, I think this will be a good fight for Pacquiao, who hasn't shown the killer instict in a while. Algieri is 5'10 with pretty decent boxing skills, enough to outwork a guy who almost KO Bradley, although I think in my eyes was blown up a lil bit more than the skills he possesses, and Bradley can box him without taking a beating, but Ruslan's still a world class fighter, just not elite. If Pacquiao doesn't fight this guy aggresively, we could see Algieri looking good against him. Not enough to win, but enough to look good while surviving. Don't forget, the kid's still undefeated too.

He's returning to Macau cause he completely burned bridges with the mgm with the ceo telling him to *** off
The plan was to go to Vegas for an April fight all along. They are not ****** to stay away from Vegas and the American public for too long.
If it bombed, they simply wouldn't consider Macau again with another opponent the calibre of Rios...like Algieri.
It's profitable. Macau's ******** revenue has overtaken Las Vegas. Heck, even the casinos in Singapore match the same revenue as Vegas annually.

So why not?

I really dont get why you keep bringing up gamblers unless top rank has their own bookies in China lol.... The gamblers are the ccasino's business, not top rank

Any of those fights are betther than Chris Algeri. Floyd tried to fight Manny twice and it was Manny who turned down the offers. Bob Arum is the problem, not Floyd. Just ask, Chavez Jr., Mikey Garcia, and Rigondeaux.
