To be honest, I think this will be a good fight for Pacquiao, who hasn't shown the killer instict in a while. Algieri is 5'10 with pretty decent boxing skills, enough to outwork a guy who almost KO Bradley, although I think in my eyes was blown up a lil bit more than the skills he possesses, and Bradley can box him without taking a beating, but Ruslan's still a world class fighter, just not elite. If Pacquiao doesn't fight this guy aggresively, we could see Algieri looking good against him. Not enough to win, but enough to look good while surviving. Don't forget, the kid's still undefeated too.Comment

You got your facts wrong . Arum said the event was profitable and they made their money by other means, not just American PPV buys.Actually it wasn't a success at all.... Right after the fight (and I'm talking immediately rightafter in the opress conference) arum said they were returning to Vegas because he had already been told early predictions showed the ppv was going to bomb
He's returning to Macau cause he completely burned bridges with the mgm with the ceo telling him to *** off
The plan was to go to Vegas for an April fight all along. They are not ****** to stay away from Vegas and the American public for too long.
If it bombed, they simply wouldn't consider Macau again with another opponent the calibre of Rios...like Algieri.
It's profitable. Macau's ******** revenue has overtaken Las Vegas. Heck, even the casinos in Singapore match the same revenue as Vegas annually.Comment

What would you have said if Floyd Mayweather chose Danny Garcia as his next opponent, instead of Maidana (not the rematch)? Why not? The guy has the tool to beat Pac. He's tremendously taller (5'11") longer reach (72") than Pac (& I think naturally bigger too), Kinda boxer/mover (w/c stylistically bad for Pac), With descent power (40% KO rate), Younger in his prime (30 yr. old), Came out from a good win (w/c some of pachaters claiming that Pac only fought fighters came from a lost fight), Proven to be durable & ability to absorb big, heavy blows and most of all, "THINKING UNDEFEATED AMERICAN BOXER". So why not?Comment

Because arum never lies lol.... Wasn't the plan never to fight in the US anymore???... They had a plan in China and it didn't work....You got your facts wrong . Arum said the event was profitable and they made their money by other means, not just American PPV buys.

I really dont get why you keep bringing up gamblers unless top rank has their own bookies in China lol.... The gamblers are the ccasino's business, not top rankComment

My point is you asked where has he been in the last 6 months, I answered your question, but to go into further detail he went on vacation to Israel and the UK with his family.
But who's Manny Pacquiao? I don't know.Comment

C'mon man, those are Haymon's fighters. The guy prohibit any of his fighter to step in the ring w/ Pac. And Floyd never "really" tried to make the fight happened. His demands was designed to be rejected and besides why asked so many demands only w/ Pac (start w/ Pac actually). Why not w/ Marquez and Hatton? Its crystal clear brother. If Manny had left TR, and Floyd didn't ever fight him, he would still have the choice of Canelo, Maidana, Thurman, Porter, Khan, Alexander, Matthysse, Broner, and Danny Garcia. Any of those fights are betther than Chris Algeri. Floyd tried to fight Manny twice and it was Manny who turned down the offers. Bob Arum is the problem, not Floyd. Just ask, Chavez Jr., Mikey Garcia, and Rigondeaux.Comment
